ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର: ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛତାକୁ ନେଇ ଜନସାଧାରଣଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସଚେତନତା ସୃଷ୍ଟି ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ “ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛତା ହିଁ ସେବା–୨୦୨୬” ଅଭିଯାନ ଅବସରରେ ଏକ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଆୟୋଜିତ ହୋଇଥିବା ଫଟୋରୁ ଦେଖାଯାଉଛି। ଫଟୋରେ Power Grid Corporation of India Limited ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଲଗାଯାଇଥିବା ସଚେତନତା ବ୍ୟାନର ଦେଖିବାକୁ ମିଳୁଛି। କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ସ୍ଥଳରେ କିଛି ଲୋକ ବସିଥିବା ବେଳେ ଜଣେ ମହିଳା ମାଇକ୍‌ ଧରି ସଚେତନତାମୂଳକ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ଦେଉଥିବା ଦୃଶ୍ୟ ରହିଛି। “ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛତା ହିଁ ସେବା” ଅଭିଯାନ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ପରିବେଶକୁ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛ ରଖିବା, ଅଳିଆ-ଆବର୍ଜନା ଠିକ୍‌ ଭାବରେ ପରିଚାଳନା କରିବା ଏବଂ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛତା ପ୍ରତି ସାଧାରଣ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଦାୟିତ୍ୱବୋଧ ବଢ଼ାଇବା ଉପରେ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱ ଦିଆଯାଉଛି।

ଖୋର୍ଦ୍ଧା: “ସେବା ସଂକଳ୍ପ ଅଭିଯାନ” ଅଧୀନରେ ଆଜି ଖୋର୍ଦ୍ଧା ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ପଥପ୍ରାନ୍ତ ନାଟକ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି। ଜନସାଧାରଣଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସଚେତନତା ସୃଷ୍ଟି ଓ ସରକାରୀ ଯୋଜନା ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ତଥ୍ୟ ପହଞ୍ଚାଇବା ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଏହି ନାଟକ ପରିବେଷଣ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା।ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଆୟୋଜିତ ଏହି ପଥପ୍ରାନ୍ତ ନାଟକକୁ ଦେଖିବା ପାଇଁ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଭିଡ଼ ଜମିଥିଲା। ନାଟକ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ସାମାଜିକ ସଚେତନତା, ଜନକଲ୍ୟାଣମୂଳକ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଓ ସେବାମୂଳକ ଭାବଧାରା ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ଦିଆଯାଇଥିଲା।

ନୟାଗଡ଼ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ନୂଆଗାଁ ବ୍ଲକ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ଚକାପଥର ଗ୍ରାମରେ ଏକ ନୂତନ ଶିବ ମନ୍ଦିର ନିର୍ମାଣ ପାଇଁ ଆୟୋଜନ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଛି। ମନ୍ଦିର ନିର୍ମାଣ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀଙ୍କ ସହଯୋଗରେ ଜମି ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି ଓ ମାଟି କାମ ଚାଲିଛି। ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ଗ୍ରାମର ଯୁବକ ଓ ବୟସ୍କମାନେ ଉତ୍ସାହର ସହ ଯୋଗଦେଇଛନ୍ତି। ଗ୍ରାମରେ ଶିବ ମନ୍ଦିର ନିର୍ମାଣ ହେବାକୁ ନେଇ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଖୁସିର ପରିବେଶ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଛି। ମନ୍ଦିର ନିର୍ମାଣ ଶୀଘ୍ର ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେଉ ବୋଲି ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀ ଆଶା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଛନ୍ତି।

ନୟାଗଡ଼ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ନୂଆଗାଁ ବ୍ଲକ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ଚକାପଥର ଗ୍ରାମ ଦଲକ ସାହିରେ ପାନୀୟଜଳ ସୁବିଧା ପାଇଁ ନଳକୂଅ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରାଯାଇଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଏଥିରୁ ପାଣି ମିଳୁନଥିବା ଅଭିଯୋଗ ହୋଇଛି। ଫଳରେ ନଳକୂଅ ଥାଇ ମଧ୍ୟ ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀଙ୍କୁ ପାଣି ପାଇଁ ଦୂରଦୂରାନ୍ତକୁ ଯିବାକୁ ପଡ଼ୁଛି। ବିଶେଷକରି ଖରାଦିନରେ ପରିସ୍ଥିତି ଆହୁରି ଗୁରୁତର ହେବାର ଆଶଙ୍କା ରହିଛି। ସରକାରୀ ଅର୍ଥରେ ନିର୍ମିତ ଏହି ନଳକୂଅ ଦୀର୍ଘଦିନ ଧରି ଅଚଳ ଅବସ୍ଥାରେ ରହିଥିବାରୁ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅସନ୍ତୋଷ ଦେଖାଦେଇଛି। ତୁରନ୍ତ ନଳକୂଅର ମରାମତି କରି ପାଣି ଯୋଗାଣ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା କରିବାକୁ ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀ ପ୍ରଶାସନ ନିକଟରେ ଦାବି କରିଛନ୍ତି।

SINAPALI, Oct 1: After rendering nearly 14 years of service in the education sector, block-level MIS-cum-Planning Coordinators and Accountant-cum-Support staff continue to seek regularisation, better remuneration and job security. Their long-pending grievances have now turned into a statewide agitation, which entered its 29th day on Thursday. Among those participating in the agitation from Sinapali are MIS-cum-Planning Coordinator Shankarshan Singh Dand Sena and Accountant-cum-Support staff Gupteswar Majhi and Santosh Bandichhor. The employees are demanding an increase in their existing pay structure, payment of Dearness Allowance (DA), time-bound regularisation and assured service security. Employees from Nuapada district have also joined the agitation following the call of their state-level organisation. As a result, the movement is reportedly affecting the functioning of five Block Education Officer (BEO) offices in the district. The role of MIS and Accountant-cum-Support personnel is considered important in the day-to-day digital, financial and administrative functioning of the education department. They have been handling a range of responsibilities related to UDISE, DigiGov, PM POSHAN, PFMS, scholarships, bill preparation, financial transactions and reporting, among other activities. With the agitation continuing for nearly a month, concerns are being raised over the functioning of some offices, particularly routine administrative work, bill processing and financial activities. The prolonged absence of these personnel could also have a cascading impact on school-level administrative operations. With the Dussehra festival approaching, concerns have also been expressed over possible delays in the preparation and processing of teachers’ salaries. If the agitation continues, activities relating to utilisation of funds under various school schemes, reporting and other student-related administrative processes may also face delays. The employees’ organisation has maintained that despite handling significant responsibilities in the education department for the past 14 years, the staff have yet to receive a permanent service structure and remuneration commensurate with their responsibilities. According to the organisation, prolonged uncertainty over their service conditions has led to growing dissatisfaction among employees and eventually prompted them to launch the agitation. As the agitation continues, attention is increasingly focused on its possible impact on the administrative machinery supporting schools across the district. The employees’ organisation has urged the authorities to consider their long-standing demands and initiate steps towards a permanent resolution, while ensuring that essential education-related administrative work does not remain disrupted.

Nuapada, September 30: A meeting of the District Cooperative Development Committee was held at the District Collectorate Conference Hall under the chairmanship of Collector Madhusudan Dash, with a focus on strengthening the cooperative system in Nuapada district and making it more beneficial and farmer-friendly. At the outset, Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies Siba Prasad Swain welcomed the participants and outlined the objectives of the meeting. The meeting reviewed the availability, supply and sale of fertilisers in the district. The Collector expressed satisfaction over the availability of fertilisers and stressed that urea and other fertilisers must not be sold above the prescribed Maximum Retail Price (MRP). Officials were asked to ensure proper monitoring of the distribution and sale of fertilisers. To provide better market access to farmers and reduce their dependence on middlemen, it was decided to facilitate milk procurement from farmers through PACS and supply it to Omfed. Similarly, steps will be taken to procure vegetables from farmers through PACS to help prevent distress sale and explore home-delivery-based marketing arrangements. The meeting also discussed preparations for paddy procurement during the Kharif and Rabi seasons. A committee headed by the Additional District Magistrate will be constituted to address issues related to paddy procurement and ensure better coordination among the concerned departments. The committee will include the Sub-Collector, Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies (DRCS), Chief Supply Officer (CSO), RMC Secretary, ARCS and the Executive Engineer of TPWODL as members. The Collector also stressed the need to ensure essential facilities such as toilets, drinking water and rest areas at paddy procurement centres. Concerned departments and agencies were directed to work in coordination so that farmers do not face difficulties while selling their paddy. As part of efforts to make cooperative institutions more diversified and service-oriented, the meeting also discussed the possibility of opening Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendras and Pashu Aushadhi Kendras at PACS-level institutions. Chief District Veterinary Officer Sukhendu Ray, Chief District Agriculture Officer Pranatirani Pradhan, Chief District Fisheries Officer Tushar Deep, LDM Harishankar Nial, Assistant Director of Handicrafts Manas Kumar Patel, along with officials from various concerned departments, attended the meeting.

Nuapada, September 30: As part of the mega drive organised under the aegis of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), an awareness camp on the NALSA Scheme for Legal Services to Victims of Human-Wildlife Conflict, 2025 was organised at Salepada High School under Sunabeda Gram Panchayat on Tuesday, marking the observance of the 72nd Wildlife Week. The awareness programme was aimed at sensitising students and the local community about the legal rights and assistance available to people affected by human-wildlife conflicts. Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Navanita Dash, attended the programme and elaborated on the provisions of the NALSA scheme and the assistance available to victims. Speaking on the occasion, Dash explained the various forms of legal assistance available to victims of wildlife attacks and highlighted the compensation and other support provided under the State Forest Department’s ex-gratia provisions. She also spoke about free medical treatment and the procedure for seeking assistance and compensation within the prescribed time. The issue assumes significance in Nuapada district, where incidents involving wildlife such as bears, tigers, elephants and wild boars have affected local communities. While attacks by tigers and bears have reportedly resulted in injuries to people and damage to livestock and property, elephant and wild boar activity has also caused damage to houses and crops in several areas. Dash urged people affected by such incidents to remain aware of their legal rights and approach the appropriate authorities within the stipulated time to seek compensation and other available assistance. She also stressed the importance of timely reporting of wildlife-related incidents to the concerned authorities. Headmaster of Salepada High School Debadas Sabar, Komna-based advocate Sohel Khan, teachers and members of the DLSA’s Para-Legal Volunteer (PLV) team participated in the programme. The awareness camp provided an opportunity for students and community members to interact with legal service representatives and learn about legal remedies, compensation provisions and support mechanisms available to victims of human-wildlife conflict.
