ଭୁବନ ୨୫.୮- ଢେ଼ଙ୍କାନାଳ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଭୁବନ ବାଜି ରାଉତ ସ୍ମୃତି ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଅବସ୍ଥିତ ହାର୍ଟ ଡିସ୍କଭରି ନର୍ସିଂ କଲେଜରେ ଭୁବନର ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ମାନଙ୍କୁ ନେଇ ନର୍ସିଂ ପାଠ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ଏକ ସଚେତନତା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି। କଲେଜ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କଧର ମହାପାତ୍ର ଏହି ସଚେତନତା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ସଭାପତିତ୍ୱ କରି ନର୍ସିଂ ପାଠ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଜି ଏନ୍ ଏମ କୋର୍ସ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଶିକ୍ଷାଗତ ଯୋଗ୍ୟତା ଯୁକ୍ତ ଦୁଇ କଳା,ବାଣିଜ୍ୟ ଓ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ , ଅବଧି ତିନି ବର୍ଷ ଏବଂ ପାସ ଆଉଟ୍ ହେବା ପରେ ସରକାରୀ,ବେସରକାରୀ ହସ୍ପିଟାଲ ରେ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ କର୍ମ ସଂସ୍ଥାନ ପାଇ ପାରିବେ ଏବଂ ନର୍ସିଂ କୋର୍ସ ରେ ଶତ ପ୍ରତିଶତ ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ସୁଯୋଗ ( ଗ୍ୟାରେଣ୍ଟି) ରହିଛି ବୋଲି ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଥିଲେ । ନଗରପାଳ ଶୁଭେନ୍ଦୁ କୁମାର ସାହୁ ଅତିଥି ଭାବେ ଯୋଗଦେଇ କହିଥିଲେଯେ ,ଆମ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଏକ ନର୍ସିଂ କଲେଜ ଖୋଲିବା ଆମ ପାଇଁ ଗର୍ବ ଓ ଗୌରବର ବିଷୟ। ନର୍ସିଂ ପାଠ ପଢ଼ିବା ପାଇଁ ଆମ ଅଞ୍ଚଳର ଝିଅ ମାନଙ୍କୁ ପୂର୍ବରୁ କଟକ,ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ଯିବାକୁ ପଡୁଥିଲା । ଏବେ ଘର ପାଖରେ ସୁବିଧାରେ ପାଠ ପଢ଼ି ପାରିବେ ଓ ଆମ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ନୂତନ କର୍ମ ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହେବା ସହିତ ବେକାରୀ ସମସ୍ୟା ଦୂର କରିବାରେ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ସହାୟକ ହେବ । ଅନ୍ୟ ମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କାଉନସିଲର ଗିରିଧାରୀ ସାହୁ,ଅବସରପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ପୋଲିସ ଅଫିସର ଶ୍ରୀଧର ବେହେରା ,ଭାରତୀୟ ଷ୍ଟେଟ ବ୍ୟାଙ୍କ ର ଅବସରପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ପ୍ରବନ୍ଧକ ଗଦାଧର ଦାସ,ଆଇନଜୀବୀ କୁଞ୍ଜ ବିହାରୀ ଚିନରା, ଶିକ୍ଷାବିତ୍ ଦୀନବନ୍ଧୁ ବେହେରା,କାଉନସିଲର ପପୁ କୁମାର ସାହୁ, ମନ ମୋହନ ସାହୁ,ସମାଜସେବୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର କୁମାର ସାହୁ,ସୁରେନ୍ଦ୍ର କୁମାର ପୃଷ୍ଟି,ଶ୍ରୀକାନ୍ତ କୁମାର ସାହୁ,ଅବସର ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟକର୍ମୀ ରଥ ସେଠୀ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଆଲୋଚନାରେ ଅଂଶଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲେ। କଲେଜର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ପ୍ରବନ୍ଧକ ଓଁ ଶୁଭମ୍ ସଙ୍କେତ ନର୍ସିଂ ଛାତ୍ରୀ ମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ବୃତ୍ତି ରାଶି ଓ ଆର୍ଥିକ ସହାୟତା ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ବିସ୍ତୃତ ଭାବେ ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଥିଲେ ।

ବରଗଡ଼- ପାର୍ବତୀଗିରି ମହିଳା ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ, ବରଗଡ଼ର କ୍ୟାରିୟର କାଉନସେଲ୍ ପକ୍ଷରୁ SEEDS, Sahu Brothers ଏବଂ CII-MCC ସମ୍ବଲପୁରର ସହଯୋଗରେ ଆଜି ଏକ ବିଶେଷ କ୍ୟାରିୟର କାଉନସେଲିଂ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି। ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ବହୁ ସଂଖ୍ୟକ ଛାତ୍ରୀ ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ଯୋଗଦେଇ ଭବିଷ୍ୟତ କ୍ୟାରିୟର ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ମୂଲ୍ୟବାନ ଦିଗ୍‌ଦର୍ଶନ ଲାଭ କରିଥିଲେ। କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷା ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ନନ୍ଦିନୀ ନିରୋଦ ପଣ୍ଡା ସଭାପତିତ୍ୱ କରି ଏକବିଂଶ ଶତାବ୍ଦୀରେ ଛାତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କର ପାରମ୍ପରିକ ଶିକ୍ଷା ସହ ଦକ୍ଷତାର ବିକାଶ ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ଆଲୋଚନା କରିଥିଲେ। କ୍ୟାରିୟର କାଉନସେଲିଂ ଓ ପ୍ଲେସମେଣ୍ଟ ସେଲ୍‌ର ମୁଖ୍ଯ ଡଃ ଗାୟତ୍ରୀ ମିଶ୍ର ଅତିଥିମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରିଚୟ କରାଇବା ସହ ଶିକ୍ଷାନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ଓ ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ମଧ୍ଯରେ ଥିବା ପାର୍ଥକ୍ଯ ବିଷୟରେ ଆଲୋକପାତ କରିଥିଲେ। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ Sahu Brothers ପକ୍ଷରୁ କନଭେନର ଶ୍ରୀ ସାକେତ ଶ୍ରୀଭୂଷଣ ସାହୁ ମୁଖ୍ଯଅତିଥି ଭାବେ ଯୋଗଦେଇ ଗାଇଡାନ୍ସ ଅଧିବେଶନର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ଛାତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ବୁଝାଇଥିଲେ । CII-MCC ସମ୍ବଲପୁରର କେନ୍ଦ୍ରର ମୁଖ୍ଯ ଶ୍ରୀ ରାହୁଲ ସାହୁ CII-MCC ର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକଳାପ ଓ ଛାତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏହାର ଉପଯୋଗିତା ବିଷୟରେ ଆଲୋଚନା କରିଥିଲେ। କ୍ଯାରିୟର ପରାମର୍ଶଦାତା ସୁଶ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରଜ୍ଞା ପାରମିତା ମହାପାତ୍ର ଛାତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଉପଲବ୍ଧ ବିଭିନ୍ନ କ୍ୟାରିୟର ସୁଯୋଗ, ନିଯୁକ୍ତି କ୍ଷେତ୍ର, ଦକ୍ଷତା ବିକାଶ, ବୃତ୍ତିଗତ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି ଓ ଭବିଷ୍ୟତ ଯୋଜନା ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ବିସ୍ତୃତ ଦିଗ୍‌ଦର୍ଶନ ଦେଇଥିଲେ। କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ପରିଚାଳନାରେ ଡଃ.ପ୍ରତାପ ମହାକୁଡ, ବିଶ୍ବଜିତ ସାହୁ, ଅନୁପମା ଚାନ୍ଦ ଓ ଚୁଳମୁକ୍ତା ପ୍ରଧାନ ସହଯୋଗ କରିଥିଲେ।ଶେଷରେ ଅଧ୍ୟାପକ ଡଃ ପ୍ରଶାନ୍ତ କୁମାର ଦାଶ ଅଧିବେଶନର ସାରାଂଶ ପ୍ରଦାନ ସହ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଅର୍ପଣ କରିଥିଲେ।

NUAPADA, AUGUST 25: A District Development Committee (DDC) meeting was held at the Sadbhavana Sabhagruha in Nuapada under the chairmanship of District Collector Madhusudan Dash, with a focus on accelerating the district’s overall development and strengthening coordination among various government departments. The meeting brought together senior district officials, including Additional Collector Subash Chandra Rait, Chief Development Officer-cum-Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad Lambodar Dharua, DFO (Territorial) Aziz Khan, Additional Superintendent of Police Ranjit Nayak, Chief District Medical Officer Dr. Dwarikanath Satapathy, APD Kshamanidhi Bhoi, along with BDOs, Tahsildars and other district-level officers. Deputy Director (Statistics) Dileswar Dharua presented the proceedings of the previous DDC meeting and the status of compliance on decisions taken earlier. The Collector subsequently reviewed the progress of various departmental schemes and development projects, taking stock of implementation, bottlenecks and measures required to resolve pending issues. Nuapada NAC recognised for outstanding performance The Collector congratulated the Nuapada NAC authorities after the urban local body was selected as a Best Performing Urban Local Body (ULB) and nominated for a cash award of ₹2 crore. Describing the achievement as a significant milestone in the district’s urban development journey, he urged the NAC authorities to maintain the momentum and continue delivering improved civic services. The performance of OSWAS was also reviewed during the meeting. The Collector announced that the top five best-performing departments/offices under OSWAS would be recognised and felicitated, encouraging officials to improve efficiency and ensure timely disposal of official work. Focus on tourism and infrastructure Tourism and infrastructure development also figured prominently in the discussions. The Collector directed the R&B Department to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the development of Salihagada, with the objective of strengthening the area’s tourism potential and associated infrastructure. Emphasising the need for greater inter-departmental coordination, the Collector directed officials to ensure that development projects are completed within stipulated timelines. He stressed that public needs must remain at the centre of development planning and urged officials to work with dedication and a service-oriented approach to place Nuapada firmly on the path of faster and inclusive development. Gramodaya meeting held A Gramodaya meeting was also conducted on the occasion, focusing on ongoing development activities in rural areas, basic amenities and the implementation of various government welfare and development schemes. The meeting concluded with an emphasis on coordinated action, effective monitoring and time-bound execution of projects so that the benefits of government initiatives reach people at the grassroots level.

L ରାଜକନିକା, ୨୫/୦୮: କେନ୍ଦ୍ରାପଡ଼ା ଜିଲ୍ଲା ରାଜକନିକା ବ୍ଲକ ତ୍ରୈଲୋକ୍ୟପୁର ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ଗଙ୍ଗାଧରପ୍ରସାଦ ଡିଆ ଗାଁରେ ମଙ୍ଗଳବାର ସକାଳେ ଏକ ଅଭାବନୀୟ ଘଟଣା ଘଟିଛି। ନଦୀ ପାର ହୋଇ ଆରପାରିକୁ ଯିବା ପାଇଁ ଘାଟ ନିକଟରେ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରୁଥିବା ଜଣେ ବୃଦ୍ଧଙ୍କୁ ଏକ କୁମ୍ଭୀର ଝାମ୍ପ ମାରି ନଦୀ ଭିତରକୁ ଟାଣିନେଇଥିବା ଅଭିଯୋଗ ହୋଇଛି। ଘଟଣା ପରେ ନିଖୋଜ ବୃଦ୍ଧଙ୍କୁ ଖୋଜିବା ପାଇଁ ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ ବାହିନୀ, ଏନ୍‌ଡିଆର୍‌ଏଫ୍‌, ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ପ୍ରଶାସନ ଓ ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ନଦୀରେ ଜୋରଦାର ଖୋଜାଖୋଜି ଜାରି ରହିଛି। ସୂଚନା ଅନୁଯାୟୀ, ଗଙ୍ଗାଧରପ୍ରସାଦ ଡିଆ ଗାଁର ପରେଶ୍ୱର ବେହେରା ମଙ୍ଗଳବାର ସକାଳେ ଘରର କିଛି ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ସାମଗ୍ରୀ ଆଣିବା ପାଇଁ ନଦୀ ଆରପାରି ଆୟତନ ବଜାରକୁ ଯିବାକୁ ବାହାରିଥିଲେ। ନଦୀ ପାର ହେବା ପାଇଁ ସେ ଗାଁ ସ୍କୁଲ ନିକଟସ୍ଥ ଘାଟଡଙ୍ଗାକୁ ଯାଇଥିଲେ। ସେଠାରେ ଅଳ୍ପ ପାଣି ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପଶିଥିବା ସମୟରେ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ପାଣିରେ ଛକି ରହିଥିବା ଏକ କୁମ୍ଭୀର ହଠାତ୍‌ ତାଙ୍କ ଉପରକୁ ଝାମ୍ପ ମାରିଥିଲା। ଆଖି ପିଛୁଳାକେ କୁମ୍ଭୀରଟି ପରେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ନଦୀ ଭିତରକୁ ଟାଣିନେଇଥିବା ଘଟଣାସ୍ଥଳରେ ଥିବା ପ୍ରତ୍ୟକ୍ଷଦର୍ଶୀମାନେ କହିଛନ୍ତି। ଖବର ପାଇ ରାଜକନିକା ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ ବାହିନୀ, ଏନ୍‌ଡିଆର୍‌ଏଫ୍‌ ଟିମ୍‌, ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ପ୍ରଶାସନ ଓ ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀ ନଦୀରେ ପହଞ୍ଚି ନିଖୋଜ ବୃଦ୍ଧଙ୍କୁ ଖୋଜିବା ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଥିଲେ। ଦିନ ପ୍ରାୟ ୨ଟା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଖୋଜାଖୋଜି ଜାରି ରହିଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ପରେଶ୍ୱର ବେହେରାଙ୍କ କୌଣସି ପତ୍ତା ମିଳିନଥିବା ଜଣାପଡ଼ିଛି। ଘଟଣାସ୍ଥଳରେ କନିକା ଥାନା ଆଇଆଇସି ସଞ୍ଜୟ ମଲ୍ଲିକ, ବିଡିଓ କୈଳାସ ମହାଳିକ ଏବଂ କନିକା ତହସିଲଦାର ଭାନୁମତୀ ମାଝୀ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ରହି ଉଦ୍ଧାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟର ତଦାରଖ କରୁଥିବା ଦେଖାଯାଇଛି। ଘଟଣାକୁ ନେଇ ସମଗ୍ର ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଶୋକାକୁଳ ପରିବେଶ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହେବା ସହ ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଆତଙ୍କ ଖେଳିଯାଇଛି। ନଦୀରେ କୁମ୍ଭୀର ଉପସ୍ଥିତି ନେଇ ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଦୀର୍ଘଦିନ ଧରି ଭୟ ରହିଥିବା ବେଳେ ଏଭଳି ଘଟଣା ପରେ ଘାଟ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଓ ସଚେତନତା ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଁ ଦାବି ଜୋର ଧରିଛି। ନିଖୋଜ ବୃଦ୍ଧଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର ପାଇଁ ଅଭିଯାନ ଜାରି ରହିଛି।

ଆସନ୍ତା ଅଗଷ୍ଟ ୨୭ ତାରିଖରେ ମାନ୍ୟବର ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ମୋହନ ଚରଣ ମାଝୀଙ୍କ ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଗୋପାଳପୁର ଗସ୍ତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ରହିଛି। ଏହି ପରିପ୍ରେକ୍ଷୀରେ ଆଜି ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ପ୍ରଶାସନ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି ଓ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାର ତଦାରଖ କରାଯାଇଛି। ​ଆଜି ଧବଳେଶ୍ୱର ମନ୍ଦିର ପରିସର ଏବଂ ଗୋପାଳପୁରସ୍ଥିତ ଆର୍ମି ଏୟାର ଡିଫେନ୍ସ (AAC) କଲେଜ୍ ପରିସରରେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ସ୍ଥଳ ପରିଦର୍ଶନ କରାଯାଇ ସମସ୍ତ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାର ସମୀକ୍ଷା କରାଯାଇଛି। ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ଆଗମନକୁ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ରଖି ହେଲିପ୍ୟାଡ୍ ନିର୍ମାଣ, କଡ଼ା ସୁରକ୍ଷା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା, ସାଧାରଣ ଯାତାୟାତ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ଆନୁଷଙ୍ଗିକ ପ୍ରଶାସନିକ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତିକୁ ସୁଚାରୁ ଓ ଶୃଙ୍ଖଳିତ ଭାବେ ସମ୍ପାଦନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସମ୍ପୃକ୍ତ ଅଧିକାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି। ​ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ଏହି ଗସ୍ତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମକୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ସଫଳ, ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ଓ ସୁବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥିତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରଶାସନିକ ବିଭାଗ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସମନ୍ୱୟ ରକ୍ଷା କରାଯାଇ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଜାରି ରହିଛି।

ଧାମନଗର: ମହମ୍ମଦଙ୍କ ଜନ୍ମଦିନ ଅବସରରେ ଧାମନଗର ଥାନା ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଆଜି ଏକ ଭବ୍ୟ ଫ୍ଲାଗ୍ ମାର୍ଚ୍ଚ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି। ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଶାନ୍ତି, ଶୃଙ୍ଖଳା ଓ ଭାଇଚାରାର ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିବା ସହିତ ଆଇନଶୃଙ୍ଖଳା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାକୁ ସୁଦୃଢ଼ ରଖିବା ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଏହି ଫ୍ଲାଗ୍ ମାର୍ଚ୍ଚ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ଏହି ଫ୍ଲାଗ୍ ମାର୍ଚ୍ଚରେ ଧାମନଗର ଥାନା ସମେତ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଥାନାରୁ ଆସିଥିବା ପୋଲିସ କର୍ମଚାରୀମାନେ ଯୋଗଦେଇଥିଲେ। ଧାମନଗର ଥାନାର IICଙ୍କ ନେତୃତ୍ୱରେ ପୋଲିସ କର୍ମଚାରୀମାନେ ଏକାଠି ହୋଇ ଧାମନଗର ସହରର ପ୍ରମୁଖ ରାସ୍ତା ଓ ସମଗ୍ର ବଜାର ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ପରିକ୍ରମା କରିଥିଲେ। ଫ୍ଲାଗ୍ ମାର୍ଚ୍ଚ ସମୟରେ ପୋଲିସ କର୍ମଚାରୀମାନେ ଶାନ୍ତି ଓ ସଦ୍‌ଭାବନା ବଜାୟ ରଖିବା ସହିତ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଭାଇଚାରାର ସହିତ ପର୍ବ ପାଳନ କରିବାକୁ ଆହ୍ୱାନ ଦେଇଥିଲେ। ସହରରେ ଯେପରି କୌଣସି ଅପ୍ରୀତିକର ପରିସ୍ଥିତି ନଘଟେ, ସେଥିପାଇଁ ପୋଲିସ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ କଡ଼ାକଡ଼ି କରାଯାଇଥିବା ଜଣାପଡ଼ିଛି। ଧାମନଗର ବଜାର ଦେଇ ଏହି ଫ୍ଲାଗ୍ ମାର୍ଚ୍ଚ ଯିବା ସମୟରେ ସାଧାରଣ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପୋଲିସର ଉପସ୍ଥିତି ଓ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ନେଇ ଏକ ସକାରାତ୍ମକ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ପହଞ୍ଚିଥିଲା। ଶାନ୍ତିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବେ ମହମ୍ମଦଙ୍କ ଜନ୍ମଦିନ ପାଳନ ପାଇଁ ପୋଲିସ ପ୍ରଶାସନ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ସହଯୋଗ କାମନା କରାଯାଇଛି।

Nuapada, August 25: A legal awareness programme and voluntary blood donation camp were organised under the aegis of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Nuapada, at the District Bar Association Hall on Tuesday. The programme brought together members of the judiciary, legal fraternity, CRPF personnel, medical professionals, students and social workers to spread awareness about important legal provisions while promoting the noble cause of voluntary blood donation. The awareness programme focused on several important subjects, including the translation of Supreme Court judgments from English into regional languages through Artificial Intelligence and the Supreme Court's “Su-Shaas” software, the Odisha High Court Virtual Court Rules, 2025, the Alternative Dispute Resolution provisions under the Civil Procedure framework, mediation-related provisions and the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT) Act, 1994. District and Sessions Judge and Chairman of DLSA, Nuapada, Samar Bilas Behera, Chief Judicial Magistrate Sushant Kumar Mishra, Senior Civil Judge Durbasa Durga, DLSA Secretary Navanita Dash, Senior Civil Judge (Women’s Court) Sarojini Sahu, SDJM Snataki Dash and Judicial Magistrate Kahnu Kisku were among those present at the programme. Principal of Mahamaya Law College, Dr. Anil Kumar Tandi, Commandant of the 216 CRPF Battalion Kuldeep Jain, Deputy Commandant of the 19 CRPF Battalion Anil Prasad Yedla, senior advocates Prasanna Padhi, Setram Dewangan and Trilok Chandra Soni, Legal Services Defence Counsel Prakash Senapati, and Para-Legal Volunteers also participated in the programme and deliberated on various legal issues. Senior Gynaecologist and Obstetrician Dr. Bidyadhar Nag, along with officials from the Health Department, sensitised students about the legal provisions relating to sex determination and the importance of preventing misuse of diagnostic techniques. The participants were also encouraged to understand the legal and social consequences associated with violations of the PCPNDT Act. A voluntary blood donation camp was organised as part of the programme, receiving an encouraging response from participants. A total of 38 units of blood were collected during the camp. Members of the Brahma Kumari organisation, including Sisters Anjali and Anita, along with Ashok Nayak, noted blood donor Kishore Kumar Parida, social worker Rachana Jain and others remained present and encouraged the donors for their valuable contribution. The programme concluded with the administration of the “Nasha Mukt Bharat” (Drug-Free India) pledge by members of the Nuapada Brahma Kumari organisation. The initiative combined legal literacy, public awareness, humanitarian service and social responsibility, sending out a strong message about the importance of both legal empowerment and community participation.

Sinapali, August 25: In a unique protest against the shortage of teachers, students of Kapsi Upper Primary School under Sinapali Block in Nuapada district sat outside the Block Education Officer (BEO) office with their books and notebooks and continued their studies. The unusual protest drew attention to the difficulties faced by students due to inadequate teaching staff at the school. According to reports, Kapsi Upper Primary School has been facing a shortage of teachers for a long time. Due to the inadequate number of teachers, regular classroom teaching in different grades is reportedly being affected, causing concern among students and parents. Parents and students have allegedly raised the issue several times with the concerned authorities and demanded the appointment of additional teachers. However, as the problem remained unresolved, the students chose an unusual way to draw the attention of the education authorities. Carrying their textbooks and notebooks, the students gathered in front of the BEO office and sat down to study. Their silent protest was seen as a strong message to the authorities that they need adequate teachers to continue their education properly. The incident has raised questions about the functioning of the local education system, particularly when students have been compelled to approach the education office over a basic requirement such as adequate teaching staff. Parents have urged the education department to take immediate steps to fill the vacant teaching positions at the school and ensure that regular teaching is restored without further delay. While the government has been emphasizing quality education and various initiatives for the welfare and future of students, the reported teacher shortage at the school highlights the challenges that still exist at the grassroots level. Parents and local residents are now waiting to see whether the education department will take prompt action and address the teacher shortage at Kapsi Upper Primary School.
