ଯାଜପୁର: ପ୍ରାକୃତିକ ପରିବେଶ ସହିତ ସମନ୍ୱୟ ରକ୍ଷା କରି ମଧ୍ୟ ଶିଳ୍ପାଞ୍ଚଳଗୁଡ଼ିକ ସମୃଦ୍ଧ ହୋଇପାରିବେ, ଏହାର ଏକ ଜ୍ୱଳନ୍ତ ଉଦାହରଣ ସାଜିଛି ଟାଟା ଷ୍ଟିଲ୍ କଳିଙ୍ଗନଗର (ଟିଏସକେ)। ଏହି ପ୍ଲାଣ୍ଟ ପରିସରର ପ୍ରାୟ ୩୩ ପ୍ରତିଶତ ଅଞ୍ଚଳକୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବେ ସବୁଜ ବଳୟରେ ବିକଶିତ କରାଯାଇଛି, ଯାହା ମୂଳ ଶିଳ୍ପ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକଳାପ ସହ ଜୈବ ବିବିଧତାକୁ ସୁନ୍ଦର ଭାବେ ଯୋଡ଼ିପାରିଛି । ଏଠାରେ ୮,୨୪,୦୦୦ ରୁ ଅଧିକ ଚାରା ରୋପଣ କରାଯିବା ସହ ଅତ୍ୟାଧୁନିକ ‘ମିୟାୱାକି’ ପଦ୍ଧତିକୁ ଆପଣାଯାଇଛି । ଏହା ହେଉଛି ସହରାଞ୍ଚଳ ବନୀକରଣର ଏକ ଅଭିନବ ପ୍ରଣାଳୀ, ଯାହା ପାରମ୍ପରିକ ପଦ୍ଧତି ତୁଳନାରେ ପ୍ରାୟ ୧୦ ଗୁଣ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଅତି ଘଞ୍ଚ ତଥା ସ୍ୱୟଂ-ନିର୍ଭରଶୀଳ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଜଙ୍ଗଲ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିଥାଏ । ଏହି ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା ଇସ୍ପାତ କାରଖାନା ସହିତ ଏକ ଜୀବନ୍ତ ପରିବେଶ ପ୍ରଣାଳୀକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସୁଦୃଢ କରୁଛି । ଟାଟା ପାୱାର ସହିତ ଏକ ସହଭାଗିତା ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଏଠାରେ ଏକ ଗ୍ରୀଡ୍-ସଂଯୁକ୍ତ ସୌର ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକାରୀ କରାଯାଇଛି, ଯେଉଁଥିରେ ଦ୍ୱିମୁଖୀ ଭିତ୍ତିଭୂମି କୌଶଳ ଆପଣାଯାଇଛି। କାରଖାନାର ଛାତ ଉପରେ ୯.୧୨ ମେଗାୱାଟ୍ ପାୱାରର ରୁଫ୍‌ଟପ୍ ସୋଲାର ଏବଂ ଜଳାଶୟଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଉପରେ ଏକ ଅଭିନବ ୧୦.୧୦ ମେଗାୱାଟ୍ ପାୱାରର ଭାସମାନ ସୌର ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ (ଫ୍ଲୋଟିଂ ପିଭି) ର ସମନ୍ୱୟ କରାଯାଇଛି । ଏଥିପାଇଁ କୌଣସି ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ଜମିର ଆବଶ୍ୟକତା ପଡ଼ିନଥିବା ବେଳେ ଏଥିରୁ ସର୍ବାଧିକ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛ ଶକ୍ତି ଉତ୍ପାଦନ କରାଯାଇପାରୁଛି । ସେହିଭଳି, ପରିବେଶ ଅନୁକୂଳ ପରିବହନ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଦ୍ୱାରା ଅଙ୍ଗାରକାମ୍ଳ ନିର୍ଗମନ (କାର୍ବନ ଫୁଟପ୍ରିଣ୍ଟ) କୁ ହ୍ରାସ କରାଯାଉଛି। କର୍ମଚାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ଦୈନନ୍ଦିନ ଯାତାୟାତ ପାଇଁ ଏବେ ୧୯ଟି ଇଲେକ୍ଟ୍ରିକ୍ କାର୍ ଏବଂ ୨୦ଟି ଇଲେକ୍ଟ୍ରିକ୍ ବସ ଚାଲୁଛି । ଏକ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛ ଓ ସୁସ୍ଥ କର୍ମକ୍ଷେତ୍ର ସୁନିଶ୍ଚିତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ଲାଣ୍ଟ ପରିସରରେ ଏକ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ‘ଇଭି ବସ୍ ଚାର୍ଜିଂ ବେ’ ମଧ୍ୟ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରାଯାଇଛି। ପ୍ରକୃତ ଦୀର୍ଘସ୍ଥାୟୀତା, ସମ୍ପଦର ସଠିକ୍ ପରିଚାଳନା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ହିଁ ନିହିତ ଥାଏ। ସ୍ମାର୍ଟ ଅପ୍ଟିମାଇଜେସନ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଟିଏସକେ ମଧୁର ଜଳ ବ୍ୟବହାରକୁ ପ୍ରାୟ ୪୦ ପ୍ରତିଶତ ହ୍ରାସ କରିବାରେ ବଡ଼ ସଫଳତା ହାସଲ କରିଛି, ଯାହା ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ପ୍ରାକୃତିକ ସମ୍ପଦ ଉପରେ ପ୍ରଭାବ କୁ ଯଥେଷ୍ଟ କମାଇ ଦେଇଛି । ଏହା ବ୍ୟତୀତ, ଏହି ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ‘ଜିରୋ ଏଫ୍ଲୁଏଣ୍ଟ ଡିସଚାର୍ଜ’ ମଡେଲ ଅଧୀନରେ ପରିଚାଳିତ ହେଉଛି । ଏହାର ସହାୟତା ପାଇଁ ଏକ ବିଶାଳ ୧୦,୫୦୦ ବର୍ଗ ମିଟରର ବର୍ଷା ଜଳ ଅମଳ ଏବଂ ଭୂତଳ ଜଳ ଭରଣ ପୋଖରୀ (ପରକୋଲେସନ ପଣ୍ଡ) ନିର୍ମାଣ କରାଯାଇଛି । ୪୬,୦୦୦ କ୍ୟୁବିକ୍ ମିଟର କ୍ଷମତା ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଏହି ସଂରଚନା ଭୂତଳ ଜଳ ସ୍ତରକୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରିବା ସହ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଜୈବ ବିବିଧତା ପାଇଁ ଏକ ସମୃଦ୍ଧ ଆବାସସ୍ଥଳୀ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରୁଛି। ଏହା ବ୍ୟତୀତ, ଟାଟା ଷ୍ଟିଲ୍ କଳିଙ୍ଗନଗରର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ବୈଷୟିକ ଅଗ୍ରଗତି ଏବଂ ଅଭିନବ ପ୍ରଣାଳୀକୁ ସର୍ବାଧିକ ପ୍ରାଧାନ୍ୟ ଦିଆଯାଉଛି । ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ନିର୍ଗମନ ହ୍ରାସ କରିବା ଏବଂ ପରିବେଶଗତ ପ୍ରଭାବକୁ ସର୍ବନିମ୍ନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଅତ୍ୟାଧୁନିକ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ସକ୍ରିୟ ଭାବେ ପ୍ରୟୋଗ କରାଯାଉଛି । ଏହି ଦୃଢ ପରିବେଶ ସଚେତନ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକଳାପର ପରିଣାମ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଶତପ୍ରତିଶତ (୧୦୦%) କଠିନ ବର୍ଜ୍ୟବସ୍ତୁର ସଦୁପଯୋଗ କରାଯାଇପାରୁଛି, ଯାହା ପରିବେଶ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ପ୍ରତି କାରଖାନାର ଗଭୀର ନିଷ୍ଠାକୁ ଦର୍ଶାଉଛି । ବିଶ୍ୱ ସ୍ତରରେ ଏହି ପ୍ରୟାସର ଫଳ ସ୍ୱରୂପ, ଟିଏସକେ ୨୦୨୪ ମସିହାରେ ସମ୍ମାନଜନକ ‘ରେସପନ୍ସିବଲ ଷ୍ଟିଲ’ ସାର୍ଟିଫିକେସନ ହାସଲ କରିଥିଲା, ଯାହା ଏହାର ନୈତିକ ଉତ୍ସ ଏବଂ ଦାୟିତ୍ୱସମ୍ପନ୍ନ ଉତ୍ପାଦନ ପ୍ରଣାଳୀକୁ ପ୍ରମାଣିତ କରୁଛି । ଶିଳ୍ପ ବର୍ଜ୍ୟବସ୍ତୁକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଏକ ମୂଲ୍ୟବାନ ସମ୍ପଦ ଭାବେ ପୁନଃବ୍ୟାଖ୍ୟା କରାଯାଉଛି । ଟିଏସକେ ୧୦୦% ଏଲ୍‌ଡି ସ୍ଲାଗ୍ ର ସଦୁପଯୋଗ କରୁଛି; ଏହି ଇସ୍ପାତ ଉତ୍ପାଦନରୁ ବାହାରୁଥିବା ଉପଜାତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟକୁ ରାସ୍ତା ନିର୍ମାଣ ଏବଂ ସିମେଣ୍ଟ ତିଆରିରେ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରାଯାଉଛି। ସେହିପରି ଅଙ୍ଗାରକାମ୍ଳ ବର୍ଜ୍ୟବସ୍ତୁର ମୁକାବିଲା ପାଇଁ ଦୈନିକ ୧୦ ଟନ୍ କ୍ଷମତା ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ‘ପଲିକ୍ରାକ୍’ ୟୁନିଟ୍ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରାଯାଇଛି । ଏହି ଉନ୍ନତ ‘ୱେଷ୍ଟ-ଟୁ-ଏନର୍ଜି’ (ବର୍ଜ୍ୟରୁ ଶକ୍ତି) ପ୍ରଯୁକ୍ତିବିଦ୍ୟା ପୌରପାଳିକାର କଠିନ ବର୍ଜ୍ୟବସ୍ତୁ, ବାୟୋମାସ ଏବଂ ବର୍ଜିତ ରବରକୁ ମୂଲ୍ୟବାନ ହାଇଡ୍ରୋକାର୍ବନ ଓ ଶକ୍ତିରେ ରୂପାନ୍ତରିତ କରିଥାଏ । ଏଭଳି ଶୂନ୍ୟ-ନିଷ୍କାସନ ଏବଂ ସର୍କୁଲାର-ଇକୋନୋମି କୁ ଆପଣେଇବା ସହ ଭାରୀ ବର୍ଜ୍ୟବସ୍ତୁକୁ ଆବର୍ଜନା ସ୍ଥାନ କୁ ଯିବାରେ ରୋକ ଲଗାଇ ପାରିଛି । ଟାଟା ଷ୍ଟିଲ୍ କଳିଙ୍ଗନଗର ଆଗାମୀ ଦିନରେ ଶିଳ୍ପ ଜଗତ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ନୂତନ ମାନଦଣ୍ଡ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରୁଛି ।

ଓଡ଼ିଶା ମେଡିକାଲ ସର୍ଭିସ ଆସୋସିଏସନ୍ (ଓମସା) ର ଆହ୍ଵାନ କ୍ରମେ ଗତକାଲି ଠାରୁ ରାଜଗାଙ୍ଗପୁର ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ର ଡାକ୍ତର ମାନେ ଅନିର୍ଦ୍ଦିଷ୍ଟ କାଳ ପାଇଁ କର୍ମ ବିରତି ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନରେ ଯୋଗ ଦେବାରୁ OPD/ IPD ସେବା ବାଧାପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହୋଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ପାଇଁ ଆସୁଥିବା ବହୁ ରୋଗୀ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ସମ୍ପର୍କିୟ ମାନେ ନାନା ଅସୁବିଧାର ସମ୍ମୁଖୀନ ହୋଇ ହନ୍ତସନ୍ତ ହେଉଥିବାର ଦେଖିବାକୁ ମିଳିଛି। ଏବଂ ବିଶେଷକରି ଦୂରଦୂରାନ୍ତରୁ ଆସୁଥିବା ରୋଗି ମାନେ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ନପାଇ ନିରାଶ ହୋଇ ଫେରୁଛନ୍ତି। ତେବେ ଓମସା ତରଫରୁ ଆପତକାଳୀନ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ସେବାରେ କୈ।ଣସି ବାଧା ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରାଯାଇନାହିଁ ଏବଂ ଗୁରୁତର ରୋଗୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ସେବା ଯୋଗାଇ ଦିଆଯାଉଛି।ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ କାରୀ ଡାକ୍ତର ମାନଙ୍କ ତରଫରୁ କୁହାଯାଇଛି ଯେ,ଦିର୍ଘ ଦିନଧରି ଓମସା ତରଫରୁ ୧୦ ଦଫା ଦାବିରେ କୁହାଯାଇଛି ଯେ, ଖାଲିଥିବା ବିଶେଷଜ୍ଞ ଡାକ୍ତର, ଏମ ବି ଏସ ଡାକ୍ତର ପଦ ପଦବୀ ରେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତି, ଆବଶ୍ୟକତା ଅନୁଯାୟୀ ଡାକ୍ତର ନିଯୁକ୍ତି, ଡାକ୍ତର ମାନଙ୍କ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଓ ସେବା ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀୟ ଦାବି ସବୁ ସରକାର ଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥାପିତ କରାଯାଇଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଦାବି ଗୁଡିକ ପୂରଣ ନହେବାରୁ କର୍ମ ବିରତି ଭଳି କଠୋର ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ନେବାକୁ ଓମସା ବାଧ୍ୟ ହୋଇଛି। ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଦୁଇ ଜଣ ଆୟୁଷ ଡାକ୍ତରଙ୍କ ଭରସାରେ ଚାଲିଛି ରାଜଗାଙ୍ଗପୁର ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର। ଏଠାରେ ଉଲ୍ଲେଖଯୋଗ୍ୟ ଯେ ରାଜଗାଙ୍ଗପୁର ବିଧାନ ସଭା ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ଅଧାରୁ ଅଧିକ ଲୋକେ ରାଜଗାଙ୍ଗପୁର ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରୁଥିବା ବେଳେ ଏଠାରେ ସ୍ଵିକୃତି ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ପୋଷ୍ଟ ଖାଲିପଡ଼ିଛି , ମଝି ମଝିରେ ଡାକ୍ତର ମାନେ ଛୁଟିରେ ରହିବାରୁ ଏବଂ କେତେକ ଡାକ୍ତର ମାନେ ଅଭ୍ୟାସଗତ୍ ଭାବେ ନିର୍ଧାରିତ ସମୟ ସୀମା ମଧ୍ୟରେ OPD ରେ ବସୁନଥିବାରୁ ଡାକ୍ତରଖାନାରେ ଅଧିକ ଭିଡ ହୋଇଥାଏ ଏବଂ ଘଣ୍ଟା ଘଣ୍ଟା ଧରି ରୋଗି ଓ ରୋଗିଙ୍କ ସମ୍ପର୍କିୟ ମାନଙ୍କୁ ଧାଡ଼ିରେ ଛିଡ଼ା ହୋଇ ଅହେତୁକ ପିଡା ଭୋଗିବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିଥାଏ ,ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଅନେକ ରୋଗୀ ମାନେ ଶିଘ୍ର ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସେବା ପାଇବା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାଇଭେଟ୍ କ୍ଲିନିକ୍ ମୁହାଁ ହେବାକୁ ବାଧ୍ୟ ହେଉଥିବାର ଅଭିଯୋଗ ମଧ୍ୟ ହେଉଛି। ଏବିଷୟରେ ବାରମ୍ବାର ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରାଯିବା ସତ୍ବେ ଶାସନ ପ୍ରଶାସନ ତରଫରୁ ଆବଶ୍ୟକତା ଅନୁଯାୟୀ ଡାକ୍ତରଙ୍କ, ନର୍ସିଙ୍ଗ ଷ୍ଟାଫ , ଫାର୍ମାସିଷ୍ଟ ନିଯୁକ୍ତି କରାଯାଉନାହିଁ କି ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ସୁବିଧା ପ୍ରତି ଧ୍ୟାନ ଦିଆଯାଉନାହିଁ ଏବଂ ରୋଗି ମାନେ ଉନ୍ନତ ମାନର ସେବା ପାଇବାରୁ ବଞ୍ଚିତ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି। ସରକାର ଯଥା ଶୀଘ୍ର ଓମସା ସହିତ ଆଲୋଚନା କରି ରୋଗୀ ମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତମ ସେବା ଯୋଗାଇବା ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଦାବି ହେଉଛି। ରାଜଗାଙ୍ଗପୁର ରୁ ରମେଶ ସୋନିଙ୍କ ରିପୋର୍ଟ।

Nuapada, July 2 The ongoing rabi paddy procurement process in Nuapada district has come under sharp criticism, with administrative lapses triggering growing resentment among farmers. Despite the administration’s assurance of 100% procurement, large quantities of paddy remain stranded at Primary Procurement Centres (PPCs), leaving thousands of farmers uncertain about the fate of their produce. On June 25, the district administration, during a meeting at the Khariar mandi, had assured farmers that all paddy brought to the procurement centres would be purchased. Trusting this commitment, farmers transported their produce to the PPCs. However, by June 30, a substantial quantity of paddy had still not been procured, leading to widespread protests and road blockades by aggrieved farmers. During the agitation, the administration reportedly proposed procuring only 70% of the paddy covered under each token, a proposal that was strongly rejected by the farmers. As public outrage intensified, the administration later reaffirmed its commitment to 100% procurement and extended the procurement deadline until July 3. Despite the extension, the situation has shown little improvement. As of July 2, nearly 60,000 bags of paddy were reportedly awaiting lifting at the Khariar PPC alone, while similar conditions prevailed at more than 25 procurement centres across the district. Completing the lifting, weighing, and online documentation of such a huge quantity within the remaining time has become a major administrative challenge. Reports have also emerged that some procurement centres have been instructed to complete the e-KYC and online entry process using average bag weight instead of actual weighing to meet the deadline. Additional data entry operators have reportedly been deployed to speed up the process. However, farmers fear that any discrepancy between the estimated and actual weight could ultimately affect them. According to farmers, if rain-soaked bags are excluded from weighing or procurement is completed on the basis of average weight, a considerable portion of their produce may remain outside the procurement process. They allege that they are being forced to bear the consequences of administrative delays and poor planning. Observers attribute the present crisis largely to delayed paddy lifting, an inadequate number of transport vehicles, and poor coordination among rice millers, the district administration, and the concerned departments. The slow pace of lifting has resulted in huge stockpiles of paddy accumulating at procurement centres. Farmers have demanded that the administration honour its assurance by ensuring 100% procurement of all paddy covered under valid tokens and that no farmer should suffer because of administrative shortcomings. There are also growing demands from various quarters for accountability and a permanent solution to recurring procurement-related problems in the district.

Raipur/Kanker | Nuapada, July 2 A major breakthrough has been achieved under ‘Operation Safe Passage’, an anti-poaching and wildlife protection initiative being carried out by the Chhattisgarh Forest Department. Acting on intelligence inputs, a joint operation conducted by the Forest Department and various enforcement agencies has dealt a significant blow to an active interstate poaching network. During the operation, two accused poachers were arrested and two tiger skins were seized from their possession. The special raid was conducted in the West Paralkot Range of Kanker district, where the accused, identified as Babu Rao Mandavi and Biyeshwar Gidam, were apprehended. Following the seizure of the tiger skins, the Bhanupratappur Forest Division registered a case (POR No. 390/09), and further investigation is currently underway. Earlier, the Forest Department had also arrested a poacher in the Abujhmad region of Bastar for hunting nine Indian Giant Squirrels. Officials stated that sustained enforcement efforts are gradually weakening the network of organized wildlife poaching syndicates operating in the region. Speaking on the development, Varun Jain, Deputy Director of the Tiger Reserve, said that continuous and strict action against wildlife crimes is yielding positive results. According to him, there is increasing evidence of unrestricted tiger movement through wildlife corridors, indicating improved habitat connectivity and stronger wildlife conservation outcomes across central India. The Forest Department further emphasized the importance of protecting and restoring the Gadchiroli–Indravati–Abujhmad–Udanti–Sitanadi–Sunabeda Wildlife Corridor, which serves as a crucial landscape for the safe movement of tigers and several other rare wildlife species. Conservation of this corridor is essential for maintaining natural habitats, ensuring genetic exchange among wildlife populations, and supporting long-term ecological balance. The department reiterated its “Zero Tolerance” policy against wildlife crime and stated that coordinated legal action, forest restoration measures, and wildlife corridor protection efforts will be intensified in the coming days. The information was released through an official press statement issued by the Chhattisgarh Forest Department. Meanwhile, sources indicate that the Nuapada Forest Division is also maintaining strict surveillance over suspected poaching activities and has stepped up monitoring efforts to curb wildlife crimes in the region.

Nuapada, July 2 With the objective of accelerating rural employment generation, livelihood development, and strengthening Gram Panchayats, the district-level public outreach and launch programme of the Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rural Employment and Livelihood Mission (VB-GRAM G) was held on Thursday at the NIC Video Conference Hall in Nuapada. The mission was launched nationally from Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, through a video conference by Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan. On the occasion, the Union Minister interacted virtually with beneficiaries and stakeholders associated with the mission from various states across the country, emphasizing the importance of public participation in achieving sustainable rural development. Officials and public representatives from Nuapada also joined the national launch virtually. The district-level programme was presided over by Nuapada Collector Madhusudan Dash. Among those present were Chief Development Officer-cum-Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad Lambodar Dharua, Additional Executive Officer (Administration) Kshamanidhi Bhoi, Nuapada Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Tareshwari Sahu, along with BDOs, ABDOs, MGNREGA coordinators, Assistant Executive Engineers, Panchayat representatives, members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), PEOs, ADEOs, GRS personnel, technical staff, and officials from various government departments. During the programme, detailed discussions were held on the objectives of the VB-GRAM G Mission, focusing on rural livelihood enhancement, employment generation, inter-departmental convergence, public participation, and the strengthening of Gram Panchayats. Speakers highlighted that close coordination among the administration, Panchayat representatives, and all concerned departments would be crucial for the successful implementation of the mission. Concluding the event, the district administration appealed to all departments, Panchayat representatives, and stakeholders to extend their active cooperation for the effective implementation of VB-GRAM G. It was expressed that the mission would play a significant role in strengthening the rural economy, expanding employment opportunities, and building self-reliant villages in the district.

Sinapali, July 2 Residents of Karlakhamar village under Sinapali block in Odisha’s Nuapada district have been left without electricity for the past 15 days, forcing the entire village into darkness. The prolonged power outage, caused by a burnt main power line, has triggered widespread resentment among villagers, who allege negligence on the part of the Electricity Department. Despite repeated complaints, both written and verbal, the department has allegedly failed to provide a permanent solution. Villagers claim they have received only assurances while the damaged power line remains unrepaired, compelling them to approach the local electricity office in protest. The prolonged disruption has severely affected normal life in the village. Students are struggling to study after sunset, while elderly people, women, and children are facing significant hardships. Essential services such as drinking water supply, mobile phone charging, and small businesses have also been adversely affected. With the ongoing monsoon season, residents say the absence of street lighting has increased the risk of encounters with snakes and other venomous creatures. According to the villagers, they had repeatedly informed the Sinapali Electricity Department about the issue, but no concrete action was taken to replace the burnt power line or restore electricity. As a result, dissatisfaction with the department’s functioning has continued to grow. In response, a delegation led by local youth leader Dr. Pradeep Kumar Pradhan, along with Mahesh Banjara, Dhananjay, Nepal, Pustam, Bhujbal, Lingaraj, Pintu, and Subas Banjara, met the Junior Engineer at the Sinapali Electricity Office and demanded immediate restoration of power supply. Following the discussion, the Junior Engineer assured the delegation that the burnt power line would be replaced and electricity restored within the next four days. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pradhan termed the department’s prolonged inaction “highly unfortunate” and said leaving villagers in darkness for over two weeks reflected serious administrative negligence. He warned that if electricity is not restored within the promised timeframe, the villagers would launch a peaceful public protest, and the Electricity Department would be held responsible for the consequences. The residents have also appealed to the district administration and senior officials of the Electricity Department to intervene immediately and ensure a permanent solution so that uninterrupted power supply can be restored to the village at the earliest.

କେନ୍ଦୁଝର, 2/7 କେନ୍ଦୁଝର ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳଙ୍କ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାଳୟ ସ୍ଥିତ ଦରବାର ହଲ୍‌ଠାରେ ଆୟୋଜିତ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ସ୍ତରୀୟ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ କେନ୍ଦୁଝର ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପରିଷଦର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷା ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ସାଗରିକା ସାହୁ, ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ ଶ୍ରୀ ବିଶାଲ ସିଂହ, ବନଖଣ୍ଡ ଅଧିକାରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ଏଚଡି ଧନରାଜ, ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପରିଷଦର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଉନ୍ନୟନ ଅଧିକାରୀ ତଥା ନିର୍ବାହୀ ଅଧିକାରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ କୁମାର ନାଗଭୂଷଣ, ମାନ୍ୟବର ଚମ୍ପୁଆ ବିଧାୟକଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିନିଧି ଶ୍ରୀ ସଂଜୀବ କୁମାର ବେହେରା, ସମସ୍ତ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ଉନ୍ନୟନ ଅଧିକାରୀଙ୍କ ସମେତ ପଞ୍ଚାୟତରାଜ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନର ସଦସ୍ୟମାନେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦୀଙ୍କ ଜାତୀୟ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମର ସିଧାପ୍ରସାରଣ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା । ଏହି ସମାବେଶକୁ ସମ୍ବୋଧିତ କରି ଅତିଥିମାନେ ନିଜ ନିଜ ଅଭିଭାଷଣରେ ଏହି ବଡ଼ ସଂସ୍କାରର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନଶୀଳ ସାମର୍ଥ୍ୟ ଉପରେ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱ ଦେଇ, "ଭିବି-ଜିରାମଜି ର ଶୁଭାରମ୍ଭ କେନ୍ଦୁଝରର ଗ୍ରାମୀଣ ଅର୍ଥନୀତି ପାଇଁ ଏକ ଯୁଗାନ୍ତକାରୀ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ସାବ୍ୟସ୍ତ ହେବ ବୋଲି ଆଶା ପ୍ରକଟ କରିଥିଲେ। କେବଳ ସ୍ୱଳ୍ପ ମିଆଦି ଆଶ୍ୱାସନାମୂଳକ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଯୋଗାଇବା ଢାଞ୍ଚାରୁ ବାହାରି ସ୍ଥାୟୀ ସମ୍ବଳ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିବା ଦିଗରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରୁଛୁ, ଯାହା ଆମ ଗ୍ରାମଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଆଗାମୀ ପିଢ଼ି ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଲାଭାନ୍ୱିତ କରିବ। ପ୍ରଶାସନିକ ନିରନ୍ତରତା ବିଷୟରେ ଜନସାଧାରଣଙ୍କୁ ଆଶ୍ୱାସନା ଦେଇ ଅତିଥିମାନେ ଆହୁରି ମଧ୍ୟ "ଏହି ନୂତନ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଲାଗୁ ହେବା ସମୟରେ ଆମ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର କୌଣସି ବି ଯୋଗ୍ୟ ଗ୍ରାମୀଣ ଶ୍ରମିକ ସମସ୍ୟାର ସମ୍ମୁଖୀନ ହେବେ ନାହିଁ। ନୂତନ ଆଇନ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ, ବାର୍ଷିକ ସରକାରୀ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଗ୍ୟାରେଣ୍ଟିକୁ ୧୦୦ ଦିନରୁ ୧୨୫ ଦିନକୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରାଯାଇଛି ଏବଂ ଜାତୀୟ ସ୍ତରରେ ଦୈନିକ ସର୍ବନିମ୍ନ ମଜୁରୀ ୩୦୦ ଟଙ୍କା ଧାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରାଯାଇଛି। ପ୍ରଶାସନିକ ବିଳମ୍ବକୁ ଏଡ଼ାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଏବେ ମଜୁରୀ ସାପ୍ତାହିକ କିମ୍ବା ପାକ୍ଷିକ (୧୫ ଦିନ) ଆଧାରରେ ସିଧାସଳଖ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯିବ।

ରଣପୁର, ୦୨/୦୭: ସର୍ଟ ସର୍କିଟରୁ ନିଆଁ ଲାଗି ଲକ୍ଷାଧିକ ଟଙ୍କାର ଜିନିଷ ଜଳି ପୋଡି ପାଉଁଶ ହୋଇ ଯାଇ ଥିବାର ସୂଚନା ମିଳିଛି। ସୂଚନା ମୁତାବକ ନୟାଗଡ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ରଣପୁର ବ୍ଲକ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ଚାନ୍ଦପୁର ରାଧାମୋହନପୁର ସାହିର ପଙ୍କଜ ନାୟକଙ୍କ ଘରେ ବୁଧବାର ଦିନ ବିଳମ୍ବିତ ରାତିରେ ସର୍ଟ ସର୍କିଟ ଯୋଗୁଁ ନିଆଁ ଲାଗି ଯାଇଥିଲା । ନିଆଁକୁ ଆୟତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରିଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ପଙ୍କଜ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କ ଘର ଲୋକ ସଂପୂଣ୍ଣ ବିଫଳ ହୋଇ ଥିଲେ । ଫଳରେ ଘରେ ଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ଜିନିଷ ପତ୍ର ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପୋଡି ଜଳି ପାଉଁଶ ହୋଇଯାଇ ଥିଲା। ଯାହାର ଆନୁମାନିକ ମୂଲ୍ୟ ୧୦ ଲକ୍ଷରୁ ଉର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ବ  ହେବ ବୋଲି ଜଣାପଡ଼ୁଛି । ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଟାଙ୍ଗୀ ଦମକଳ ବାହିନୀକୁ ଖବର ଦେବା ପରେ ଦମକଳ ବାହିନୀ ପହଞ୍ଚି ନିଆଁକୁ ଆୟତ କରିଥିଲେ । ତେବେ ପରିବାର ପକ୍ଷରୁ ସରକାରୀ ସହାୟତା ପାଇଁ ନିବେଦନ କରିଛନ୍ତି ।
