ଅନୁଗୋଳ: ଆଗାମୀ ଦୁର୍ଗା ପୂଜା ଓ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀ ପୂଜାକୁ ଶାନ୍ତିଶୃଙ୍ଖଳାର ସହ ପାଳନ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅନୁଗୋଳ ଡିପିଓ ସମ୍ମିଳନୀ କକ୍ଷରେ ଏସପିଙ୍କ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷତାରେ ପୂଜା କମିଟି ସଦସ୍ୟଙ୍କ ସହ ଏକ ସମନ୍ୱୟ ବୈଠକ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା।ବୈଠକରେ ଆଇନଶୃଙ୍ଖଳା ପରିସ୍ଥିତି, ଟ୍ରାଫିକ୍ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣ, ସୁରକ୍ଷା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଏବଂ ପୂଜା ପର୍ବର ସୁଗମ ପରିଚାଳନା ଉପରେ ଆଲୋଚନା କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ଉତ୍ସବ ସମୟରେ ଶାନ୍ତି ଓ ଶୃଙ୍ଖଳା ବଜାୟ ରଖିବା ସହ ଯେକୌଣସି ଅପ୍ରୀତିକର ପରିସ୍ଥିତିକୁ ଏଡ଼ାଇବା ପାଇଁ ପୋଲିସ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଉପରେ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱ ଦିଆଯାଇଥିଲା। ଏଥିସହ ପୂଜା କମିଟିର ସମସ୍ତ ସଦସ୍ୟଙ୍କୁ ପୋଲିସ ପ୍ରଶାସନ ସହ ସମନ୍ୱୟ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବା ସହ ପୂଜାକୁ ଶାନ୍ତିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଓ ସୁରୁଖୁରୁରେ ସମ୍ପନ୍ନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସହଯୋଗ କରିବାକୁ ଅନୁରୋଧ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା।

ବଅଁରପାଳ: ମାନବ ସେବା ହିଁ ମାଧବ ସେବା। ଏହି ମହତ୍ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟକୁ ଆଧାର କରି ପୁଣି ଜଣେ ଅସହାୟ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କୁ ସହାୟତା ପାଇଁ ଆଗେଇ ଆସିଛନ୍ତି ସମାଜସେବୀ ଅଭିମନ୍ୟୁ ସାହୁ। ଅନୁଗୋଳ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ବଅଁରପାଳ ବ୍ଲକ ବଳରାମପ୍ରସାଦ ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ କଇଁଫୁଲିଆ ସାହିର ଧନେଶ୍ୱର ବିଶ୍ୱାଳ ଦୀର୍ଘଦିନ ଧରି କିଡନୀ ଜନିତ ରୋଗରେ ପୀଡ଼ିତ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ପରିବାରର ଆର୍ଥିକ ମେରୁଦଣ୍ଡ ଥିବା ଧନେଶ୍ୱର ରୋଗାକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ହେବା ପରଠାରୁ ପରିବାରର ଆର୍ଥିକ ସ୍ଥିତି ଦୁର୍ବଳ ହୋଇପଡ଼ିଛି।ଧନେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଏହି ଦୁର୍ଦ୍ଦଶା ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ଜାଣିବା ପରେ ଗ୍ରାମର କିଛି ଯୁବକ ସମାଜସେବୀ ଅଭିମନ୍ୟୁ ସାହୁଙ୍କ ସହ ଯୋଗାଯୋଗ କରି ସହାୟତା ପାଇଁ ଅନୁରୋଧ କରିଥିଲେ। ଖବର ପାଇ ଶ୍ରୀ ସାହୁ ଧନେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଘରେ ପହଞ୍ଚି ତାଙ୍କର ଭଲମନ୍ଦ ପଚାରି ବୁଝିବା ସହ ପରିବାରର ଦୟନୀୟ ଆର୍ଥିକ ସ୍ଥିତିକୁ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ରଖି ୧୦ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କାର ଆର୍ଥିକ ସହାୟତା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଥିଲେ। ଅଭିମନ୍ୟୁ ସାହୁଙ୍କ ଏହି ମାନବିକତାପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପଦକ୍ଷେପକୁ ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବା ସହ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଜଣାଇଛନ୍ତି। ଆଗାମୀ ଦିନରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ‘ମାନବ ସେବା ହିଁ ମାଧବ ସେବା’ ମନ୍ତ୍ରରେ ଅନୁପ୍ରାଣିତ ହୋଇ ଦୁଃଖୀ, ଅସହାୟ ଓ ଗରିବ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସେବା ଜାରି ରଖିବେ ବୋଲି ସମାଜସେବୀ ଅଭିମନ୍ୟୁ ସାହୁ ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି।

23.996 kg of ganja seized near Gotma Airstrip Canal Road; one scooter and five mobile phones recovered Khariar Road/Nuapada, October 15: In a major crackdown on the alleged illegal transportation of narcotic substances, Jonk Police arrested five male persons and seized 23.996 kilograms of ganja near Gotma Airstrip Canal Road in Nuapada district on October 14. According to a press note issued by the police, the operation was conducted at around 11:00 AM after personnel on patrol received information regarding the transportation of ganja. Acting on the information, police promptly reached the spot and apprehended five persons who were allegedly carrying ganja in two carton boxes. The arrested persons have been identified as Rajik Khan alias Saijada Khan alias Sajjad Hussein (36), Shani Tandi (28), Narendra Jagat (25), Gopal Bagh (26) and Sonu alias Pankaj Sahu (24). During the operation, police recovered a total of 23 kilograms and 996 grams of ganja. One scooter and five mobile phones were also seized in connection with the case. As per the police statement, the seized ganja packets were properly sealed and all necessary legal formalities were completed in accordance with the prescribed procedure. In this connection, Jonk Police registered Case No. 382, dated October 14, 2026, under Section 111(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), read with Section 20(b)(ii)(C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985. Sub-Inspector B.P. Pradhan of Jonk Police Station has been assigned as the investigating officer. Further investigation is underway to establish the circumstances surrounding the alleged transportation of the contraband and examine other relevant aspects of the case. Police recover 1.231 kg of ganja, 25 bottles of cough syrup, 23 units of Pentazocine injections, four two-wheelers and five mobile phones Khariar Road/Nuapada, October 15: In a major action against the alleged transportation of narcotic and other controlled substances, Jonk Police arrested six male persons during an operation near Mongorapali Kalyan Mandap in Khariar Road area of Nuapada district on October 12. According to a press note issued by the police, the operation was conducted at around 11:00 AM following the receipt of reliable information during routine patrolling regarding the alleged transportation of contraband substances. The arrested persons have been identified as Sajid Khan (38), Sayyad Makky Ali (28), Mahammad Samir (24), Tanveer Ali (20), Mahammad Farid (22) and Sheik Wasim Ahammad (31). All six are residents of the Jonk Police Station area in Nuapada district. During the operation, police seized 1 kilogram and 231 grams of ganja, 25 bottles of Wincerex cough syrup weighing approximately 691 grams, and 23 units of Pentazocine Lactate Injection-IP weighing approximately 540 grams. In addition to the suspected contraband substances, police also seized two motorcycles, two scooters and five mobile phones in connection with the case. The seized vehicles and mobile phones are expected to form part of the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the alleged transportation of the substances. In this connection, Jonk Police registered Case No. 381, dated October 12, 2026, under Section 111(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), read with Sections 20(b)(ii)(A) and 21(b) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985. Police stated that all necessary legal formalities were followed during the operation and subsequent arrests. Bhela: An awareness camp for student members of the Student Legal Literacy Club was organised at Dr. Katju High School in Bhela under the auspices of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA). The programme aimed to familiarise students with their legal rights, the importance of legal awareness and the availability of free legal assistance for eligible beneficiaries. DLSA Secretary Navaneeta Dash attended the programme and explained the objectives and functioning of the Student Legal Literacy Club. She highlighted the club’s role in spreading legal awareness among students and helping them understand the importance of access to justice and free legal services. During her address, Dash elaborated on the activities of the District Legal Services Authority and various schemes introduced by the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA). During the visit, she interacted with officials, teachers, students, doctors and local residents to evaluate the implementation of various government initiatives. The Collector reviewed the progress of development schemes, including VB-G RAM-G, CMSA and BGBO, and stressed the need for effective implementation and timely completion of projects aimed at improving the living standards of people in the region. During her visit to the Tikhali Dam water sports site, Anya Das discussed proposals for developing a model tank and park to enhance tourism infrastructure and create better recreational facilities. She directed the Block Development Officer (BDO) to initiate the necessary work promptly. At Jitamitra High School, the Collector reviewed the educational environment and emphasised the importance of regular classes and quality education. She underscored the need to ensure that students receive proper academic support and opportunities for all-round development. She also inaugurated a selfie point at Komna market and visited a Durga Puja pandal, where she observed the festive arrangements. The Collector also visited Komna Panchayat Samiti +2 College, where she interacted with science students and lecturers and reviewed the institution's developmental requirements.
