ରାଉରକେଲା: ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ଜଣେ ସମ୍ମାନସ୍ପଦ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିତ୍ଵ ସୁଶ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରମିଳା ନାୟକଙ୍କ ବିୟୋଗରେ ସୁନ୍ଦରଗଡ଼ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ସମେତ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଶୋକର ଛାୟା ଖେଳିଯାଇଛି। ୧୯୪୨ ରେ ଜନ୍ମିତ ପ୍ରମିଳା ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ଗରିବ, ଅସହାୟ, ନିରାଶ୍ରୟ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଶିକ୍ଷା, ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ତଥା ତ୍ୟାଗ, ସଂଘର୍ଷ ଓ ସେବାର ସମନ୍ୱୟ ର ପ୍ରତୀକ ଥିଲେ କହିଲେ ଅତ୍ୟୁକ୍ତି ହେବ ନାହିଁ। ସୂଚନାଯୋଗ୍ୟ ଯେ, ୫୦ ଦଶକରେ ତୁଡାଲଗା ଗ୍ରାମରେ ପ୍ରଥମ ଶିକ୍ଷୟିତ୍ରୀ,୧୯୬୨ ରେ ଗ୍ରାମ ସେବିକା,୧୯୬୬ ରେ ତତ୍କାଳୀନ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଲାଲ ବାହାଦୁର ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ଠାରୁ ପୁରସ୍କୃତ ଓ ପରେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ଉନ୍ନୟନ ଅଧିକାରୀଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ସମ୍ମାନିତ,୧୯୯୭-୯୮ ରେ ବେଦବ୍ୟାସ ଆଶ୍ରମର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠାତା ବ୍ରହ୍ମାନନ୍ଦ ସରସ୍ଵତୀଙ୍କୁ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ, ସବଡେଗା ବ୍ଲକରେ ଅଙ୍ଗନବାଡି ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା, ବିବାହ ନ କରି ଆଜୀବନ ସେବାର ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ, ୧୯୮୮ ରେ ସତ୍ୟସାଇଙ୍କ ଆଶ୍ରିତ ଓ ୨୦୨୬ ରେ ମହାପ୍ରୟାଣ। ନିଜର ସେବା, ବ୍ୟବହାର ପାଇଁ ସେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର ନାନି / ଅପା ବା ବଡ଼ ଭଉଣୀ ପାଲଟି ଯାଇଥିଲେ। ତାଙ୍କର ବିୟୋଗରେ ତୁଡାଲଗା ଗ୍ରାମରେ ଏକ ସ୍ବତନ୍ତ୍ର ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଞ୍ଜଳି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ବହୁ ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କ ଉପସ୍ଥିତି ତାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଜନସାଧାରଣଙ୍କ ଭଲପାଇବା ପ୍ରମାଣିତ କରିଥିଲା। ଅଶୋକ ରାଜଙ୍କ ସଂଯୋଜନାରେ ଆୟୋଜିତ ସ୍ମୃତିସଭା ଓ ସର୍ବୋପରି ରାଉରକେଲା ବିଧାୟକ ସାରଦା ପ୍ରସାଦ ନାୟକ, ପ୍ରାକ୍ତନ ବିଧାୟକ ଡ ପ୍ରଫୁଲ୍ଲ ମାଝୀ,ରଣଜିତ୍ ଭିତିରିଆ, ସମାଜସେବୀ ପି ପି ରାୟ, ଡ଼ଃ ସୁପ୍ରିୟା ପାଲ, ହରିହର ରାଉତରାୟ, ବଡ଼ଗାଁ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପରିଷଦ ଅମୀୟ ପ୍ରଧାନ, ରଞ୍ଜନ ପଟେଲ, ଚୈତନ୍ୟ ମହାନ୍ତି, ସାମ୍ବାଦିକ କୁଞ୍ଜବିହାରୀ ରାଉତ, ରାଜକିଶୋର ଷଡ଼ଙ୍ଗୀ, ପଦ୍ମନାଭ ସାମଲ,ଗିରିଶ ମହାପାତ୍ର,ଗଦାଧର ନନ୍ଦ,ଧୁଳେଶ୍ବର ସାହୁ, ସୁଶାନ୍ତ ଚୌଧୁରୀ, ପିଙ୍କୁ ଜୟସ୍ବାଲ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ବକ୍ତବ୍ୟ ରଖି ନାନିଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଞ୍ଜଳି ଅର୍ପଣ କରିଥିଲେ। ପରିବାର ତରଫରୁ ପ୍ରାକ୍ତନ ବଡ଼ଗାଁ ବ୍ଲକ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ରାମଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ନାୟକ, ଡ ଅରୁଣ ନାୟକ,ସମର୍ପିତା ରାଉତ, ଆସ୍ଥା ନାୟକ, ଅଂଶ ନାୟକ, ପଙ୍କଜ ନାୟକ, ସୁଶାନ୍ତ ରାଉତ, ସୈ।ରଭ ପଣ୍ଡା ଙ୍କ ସମେତ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ସମସ୍ତ ଆଇଟିଆଇ କର୍ମକର୍ତ୍ତା, ବଡ଼ଗାଁ ନର୍ସିଂ କଲେଜ, ଲାୟନ୍ସ କ୍ଳବ୍, ସତ୍ୟସାଇ ଟ୍ରଷ୍ଟ ଙ୍କ ସମେତ ବହୁ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ଓ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଅଞ୍ଚଳର ସହସ୍ରାଧିକ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଳୁ ଯୋଗଦେଇଥିଲେ। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ଏକ ସ୍ମରଣିକା ଓ ରାଉରକେଲାର ଶ୍ରୀକ୍ଷେତ୍ର ଭଜନ ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟା ତରଫରୁ ଭଜନ ସମାରୋହ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହେଇଥିଲା। ନାନି ଙ୍କ ବିୟୋଗରେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ରମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଜୁଏଲ ଓରାମ, ରାଜ୍ୟସଭା ସାଂସଦ ଦିଲିପ ରାୟ, ଉପବାଚସ୍ପତି ଭବାନୀ ଶଙ୍କର ଭୋଇ, ରାଜଗାଙ୍ଗପୁର ବିଧାୟକ ଡା ସି ଏସ ରାଜନ ଏକ୍କା, ପ୍ରାକ୍ତନ ବାଚସ୍ପତି କିଶୋର ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ପଟେଲ୍, ପ୍ରାକ୍ତନ ଶାସନ ସଚିବ ବିଜୟ କୁମାର ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ, ମନୋରଞ୍ଜନ ଦାଶ, ଲାୟନ ମମତା ଗୈ।ତମ,ଡ କାଳୀ ପ୍ରସାଦ ମିଶ୍ର,ଇଂ ମିଲନ ମହାପାତ୍ର, ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପରିଷଦ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷା କୁନ୍ତୀ ପ୍ରଧାନ,ଡ ନିବେଦିତା ରାଉତ, ଲିଙ୍ଗରାଜ ରଥ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଶୋକ ପ୍ରକାଶ ସହ ଶୋକସନ୍ତପ୍ତ ପରିବାରକୁ ସମବେଦନା ଜ୍ଞାପନ କରିଛନ୍ତି।

ରାଜକନିକା : ପରିବେଶକୁ ସବୁଜ କରିବା ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟରେ ଶ୍ରୀ ଦଶରଥ ନନ୍ଦନ ସେବା ଟ୍ରଷ୍ଟ ତରଫରୁ ରାଜକନିକା ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି । ଆଗାମୀ ଦିନରେ ୧0000 ହଜାର ବୃକ୍ଷ ରୋପଣ କରିବାର ମହତ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ – ରଖାଯାଇଛି | ବର୍ତମାନ ସମୟରେ କଡା ଖରା ଏବଂ ଗ୍ରୀଷ୍ମପ୍ରଭାବ ସାଧାରଣ – କୋଠସାହି, ପରୋଳ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଆଜି ଏକ ବୃହତ ବୃକ୍ଷରୋପଣ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଜୀବନକୁ ଅତିଷ୍ଠ କରିଦେଉଥିବା ବେଳେ ଟ୍ରଷ୍ଟ ଏଭଳି ସମୟୋପଯୋଗୀ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରି ସମସ୍ତ ମହଲରେ ପ୍ରଶଂସିତ ହୋଇଛି। ବୃକ୍ଷରୋପଣ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ଟ୍ରଷ୍ଟର ସମସ୍ତ ପଦାଧୂକାରୀ ଓ ସଦସ୍ୟମାନେ ସକ୍ରିୟ ଭାବେ ଅଂଶଗ୍ରହଣ କରି ବୃକ୍ଷ ରୋପଣ କରିଥିଲେ। କେବଳ ବୃକ୍ଷ ରୋପଣ ନୁହେଁ, ରୋପଣ ହୋଇଥିବା ବୃକ୍ଷ ଗୁଡିକର ଯନ୍ ଓ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ପାଇଁ ଟ୍ରଷ୍ଟ ତରଫରୁ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ମଧ୍ୟ କରାଯାଇଛି । ଆଗାମୀ ଦିନରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଏହି ବୃକ୍ଷରୋପଣ ଅଭିଯାନ ଜାରି ରହିବ ବୋଲି ଟ୍ରଷ୍ଟ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ସୂଚନା ଦିଆଯାଇଛି। ଏହି ଅବସରେ ଟ୍ରଷ୍ଟର ସଭାପତି ମାନସ ରଞ୍ଜନ ମଲ୍ଲିକ କହିଲେ ଯେ, ‘ପରିବେଶ ବଞ୍ଚିଲେ ହିଁ ମଣିଷ ବଞ୍ଚିବ। ତେଣୁ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଅତି କମରେ ନିଜ ମା ଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ବୃକ୍ଷ ରୋପଣ କରି ତାକୁ ବଡ଼ କରିବା ଉଚିତ। ଏକ ଲକ୍ଷ ବୃକ୍ଷ ରୋପଣ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ହାସଲ କରିବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଏହି ଅଭିଯାନ ଚାଲିବ ।‘କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ ଟ୍ରଷ୍ଟ ସଦସ୍ୟ ସଭାପତି – ମାନସ ରଞ୍ଜନ ମଲ୍ଲିକଶ୍ରୀ ଦୀପକ କୁମାର ମଲ୍ଲିକ, ଶ୍ରୀ ପିତାମ୍ବର ମଲ୍ଲିକ, ଆମର ଦାସ, ଦୋଳଗୋବିନ୍ଦ ମଲ୍ଲିକ, ଦେବେନ୍ଦ୍ର ବାରିକ, ଧୀରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଦାସ, ରଞ୍ଜନ ମଲ୍ଲିକ, ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ନାୟକ, ଦିଲ୍ଲୀପ ପରିଡା ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ରହି ବୃକ୍ଷରୋପଣରେ ସହଯୋଗ କରିଥିଲେ। ସାମାଜିକ ସେବା ସହ ପରିବେଶ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଦିଗରେ ଦଶରଥ ନନ୍ଦନ ସେବା ଟ୍ରଷ୍ଟର ଏଭଳି ପ୍ରୟାସକୁ ରାଜକନିକା ଅଞ୍ଚଳବାସୀ ଉଚ୍ଚ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିଛନ୍ତି ।

ବଲାଙ୍ଗୀର -ଟିଟିଲାଗଡ଼ :-୧୧/୭/୨୬ ଟିଟିଲାଗଡ଼ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ବିନେକେଲା ସରକାରୀ ଉଚ୍ଚ ପ୍ରାଥମିକ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଠାରେ ନୂତନ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ପରିଚାଳନା କମିଟି ଚୟନ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ସିଆରସିସି ସୁରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ନାଗ ଙ୍କ ଉପସ୍ଥିତିରେ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା l ଏଥିରେ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ର ଇନଚାର୍ଜ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଶିକ୍ଷକ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ମହାନନ୍ଦ ନୂତନ ପରିଚାଳନା କମିଟି ଗଠନର ନିୟମାବଳୀ ଅଭିଭାବକ ମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ପଠନ କରିଥିଲେ l ପରେ ନିୟମାନୁଯାୟୀ ଅଭିଭାବକ ମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ୧୫ଜଣଙ୍କୁ ଅଭିଭାବକମାନେ ଚୟନ କରିଥିଲେ l ଏଥିରେ ନୂତନଭାବେ ଚୟନ ହୋଇଥିବା ସଭ୍ୟସଭ୍ୟା ମାନଙ୍କ ଭିତରୁ ଶ୍ରୀ ଗୁଣନିଧି ମାଝୀଙ୍କୁ ସର୍ବ ସମ୍ମତିକ୍ରମେ ସଭାପତି ଭାବରେ ଚୟନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା ଓ ଉପ ସଭାପତି ଭାବରେ ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ଅମ୍ବିକା ସୁନାନୀ ଙ୍କୁ ସହମତି ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଥିଲେ l ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ର ଶିକ୍ଷକ ଅନଙ୍ଗ ବିଶି, ସୁଦାମ ଚରଣ ମାଝୀ, ମହିଳାଲ କୁମ୍ଭାର, ଚୈତନ୍ୟ ଠେଲା, ଶିକ୍ଷୟିତ୍ରୀ ସୁମନ ଭାରତୀ,ସଂଗୀତା ଓରାମ,ପ୍ରିୟଙ୍କା ନାଗ ସମୂହ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ l

Nuapada, July 11 In a remarkable initiative promoting environmental conservation and social awareness, the residents of Magurpani village under Boirbhadi Gram Panchayat in Nuapada Block have launched a campaign to transform their village into a plastic-free and addiction-free community. A public awareness programme along with a felicitation ceremony for the District Collector was held at the Government High School premises of the village. Nuapada District Collector Madhusudan Das, who attended the programme as the chief guest, appreciated the villagers for their voluntary efforts and community-driven initiative. Among the distinguished guests were Boirbhadi Sarpanch Laxmi Raut, Headmistress of Government High School Chiteswari Sahu, former Sarpanch Rohit Kumar Raut, and JAN President Ghanshyam Bhoi. The Collector received a traditional welcome from the villagers with folk dances, musical performances, and the blowing of ceremonial ululation. Later, accompanied by the villagers, he participated in a cleanliness drive across different hamlets of the village, collecting discarded plastic bottles, polythene bags, and other waste materials. The awareness rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from women, who played a leading role by carrying banners with messages such as “Addiction-Free Magurpani,” “Plastic-Free Magurpani,” and “Quit Addiction, Build a Better Life.” Through the campaign, they appealed to the public to protect the environment and work collectively towards creating a healthy, addiction-free society. The youth of the village also joined the movement with great enthusiasm, expressing their commitment to building a village free from alcohol and plastic pollution. Sinapali, July 11: With the objective of nurturing curiosity, confidence, and intellectual excellence among students, Radio Swar Sangam 90.8 FM successfully organised an engaging General Knowledge Quiz Competition at Nilji Higher Secondary School, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and healthy academic competition. Students of the Higher Secondary Arts stream were divided into three teams—Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati—to compete in a series of thought-provoking quiz rounds. Demonstrating remarkable knowledge and teamwork, the Saraswati Team emerged as the champion, while the Yamuna Team secured second place and the Ganga Team finished third. The programme was inaugurated by the school’s Principal, Lalit Sunari, who encouraged students to go beyond textbooks, stay informed about current affairs, and continuously expand their knowledge to become responsible citizens and future leaders. The quiz was efficiently conducted by Pradyumna Singh Chinda, Programme Coordinator of Radio Swar Sangam, along with Lingaraj Jagat, Audio Editor. Trinath Meher, Director of Radio Swar Sangam, graced the occasion and presented certificates to the winning participants. He also inspired students to actively participate in educational and community-based programmes organised by the community radio station. The winning Saraswati Team comprised Rashmiranjan Bag, Yajnasini Majhi, and Ukia Kand. The Yamuna Team, consisting of Mamata Sunani, Balaram Sa, and Shivani Sagar, secured the second position, while the Ganga Team—Sarita Bishi, Dingar Majhi, and Nepur Nial—finished third. Sinapali, July 11: In a major enforcement drive aimed at protecting farmers from counterfeit seeds, substandard fertilisers, and unfair trade practices, the Agriculture Department conducted surprise inspections at nearly 40 seed and fertiliser retail outlets across Sinapali Block in Nuapada district. The intensive inspection, led by Block Agriculture Officer Sudhanshu Meher, uncovered several instances of irregularities and violations of licensing norms. Following the verification, the department cancelled the licences of four dealers, suspended two others, and issued show-cause notices to several more, sending a strong message against malpractice in the agricultural input supply chain. According to official sources, the licences of Alok Naik and Sarat Naik of Kusumjor village, Gyan Naik of Jharbandh, and Kshirod Meher of Hatibandha were cancelled after serious discrepancies were detected during the inspection. Similarly, the retail outlets operated by Sail Meher of Sagunbhadi and Chandra Meher of Sinapali have been placed under suspension pending further action. The department also served show-cause notices to several dealers, including Bijay Padhi of Palsapada, Dinesh Agrawal of Nilji, Gajendra Nial of Khumal, Shankar Harijan of Godal, and Rupesh Meher of Sinapali, seeking explanations regarding alleged violations. The inspection team included Assistant Agriculture Officer (AAO) Tapaswini Majhi, BFT Shri Dhakad, and other officials and field staff of the Agriculture Department. Officials stated that the drive was undertaken to ensure farmers receive quality-certified seeds and fertilisers during the ongoing agricultural season and to curb the circulation of fake or unauthorised agricultural inputs. The department has also made it clear that similar surprise inspections will continue across the block in the coming days to safeguard farmers’ interests and maintain transparency in the distribution of agricultural supplies. The action has been widely welcomed by farmers, who hope that such strict enforcement will strengthen confidence in the agricultural supply system and ensure timely access to genuine farm inputs.

Komna, July 11: Swagat Public School, located at Lakhana village under Komna Block of Nuapada district, organised a large-scale tree plantation programme on Saturday to promote environmental awareness and encourage sustainable living among students. The plantation drive was held on the school campus with enthusiastic participation from the school Director, teachers, and students, who planted a variety of saplings as part of the initiative. The programme aimed to instill a sense of environmental responsibility among young learners and highlight the importance of preserving nature. Addressing the gathering, the speakers emphasised that trees are invaluable to human life as they provide oxygen, shade, fruits, medicinal benefits, and help maintain ecological balance. They also expressed concern over increasing deforestation, pollution, and climate change, stressing that every citizen has a responsibility to plant and protect trees. School Director Narendra Nag said, “Planting a tree today means creating a healthier, greener, and more sustainable future for the coming generations. Protecting the environment is not only the government’s responsibility but also the moral duty of every individual.” He encouraged every student to plant at least one tree each year and nurture it with care.
