Bureau Report, Rourkela Rourkela, June 25: Raurkela Police has arrested another accused in connection with a major interstate illegal gambling racket operating along the Odisha-Jharkhand border. The arrest was made on 24 June 2026 during the ongoing investigation of Sector-15 PS Case No. 93/2026. Earlier, police had seized a large quantity of cash, gold and silver ornaments, 3 cars, 4 two-wheelers, mobile phones, 68 dice, bamboo gambling baskets, and a cash-counting machine during raids conducted in the case. During the latest operation, police seized two mobile phones and ₹1.5 lakh in cash from the arrested person. The accused has been forwarded to court. Investigation is continuing and efforts are underway to trace and apprehend other persons involved in the racket.

ରିପୋର୍ଟ: ଗଣପତି ଦାସ, ବୀରମିତ୍ରପୁର ବୀରମିତ୍ରପୁର: ଲକ୍ଷ୍ନୌରେ ଘଟିଥିବା କୋଚିଂ ସେଣ୍ଟର ଅଗ୍ନିକାଣ୍ଡରେ ପ୍ରାଣ ହରାଇଥିବା ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ସ୍ମୃତିରେ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଞ୍ଜଳି ଓ କ୍ୟାଣ୍ଡେଲ ମାର୍ଚ୍ଚ ସହିତ NEET ପରୀକ୍ଷାରେ ହୋଇଥିବା କଥିତ ଅନିୟମିତତା ଓ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନପତ୍ର ଲିକ୍ ଘଟଣାକୁ ନେଇ ବୀରମିତ୍ରପୁରରେ ବିଜୁ ଜନତା ଦଳ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଏକ ବିଶାଳ ପ୍ରତିବାଦ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଛି। ବୀରମିତ୍ରପୁର ବିଧାୟକ ରୋହିତ ଜୋସେଫ ତୀର୍କୀଙ୍କ ନେତୃତ୍ୱରେ ବିର୍ସା ମୁଣ୍ଡା ଛକଠାରେ ଆୟୋଜିତ ଏହି ପ୍ରତିବାଦରେ ବହୁ ସଂଖ୍ୟକ ଦଳୀୟ କର୍ମୀ, ଯୁବ ଓ ଛାତ୍ର ନେତାମାନେ ଯୋଗଦେଇଥିଲେ। ବକ୍ତାମାନେ NEET ପରୀକ୍ଷାରେ ହୋଇଥିବା କଥିତ ଅନିୟମିତତା ଲକ୍ଷ ଲକ୍ଷ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ଭବିଷ୍ୟତକୁ ପ୍ରଭାବିତ କରିଥିବା ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରି କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାର ବିରୋଧରେ ସ୍ୱର ଉତ୍ତୋଳନ କରିଥିଲେ। ଏହାସହ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଶିକ୍ଷାମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ତୁରନ୍ତ ଇସ୍ତଫା ଦାବି କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ନ୍ୟାୟ ନମିଳିବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ ଜାରି ରହିବ ବୋଲି ନେତାମାନେ କହିଥିଲେ। ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ବିଜେଡି ଟାଉନ ସଭାପତି କୁନା ଦେଓ, ବିଧାୟକ ପ୍ରତିନିଧି ଶଶି ସାଗର, ରୋହିତ ଦିପ, ବୀରମିତ୍ରପୁର ମୁନିସିପାଲିଟିର ଉପାଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷା ନିବେଦିତା ବାଗେ, ବରିଷ୍ଠ ନେତା ଜଗଦୀଶ ଅଗ୍ରୱାଲ, ଅଶୋକ ନାୟକ, ଛାତ୍ର ନେତା ମହମ୍ମଦ ଏଜାଜ ଆଲମ, କାଉନସିଲର କମଲେଶ ସିଂ, ଯୁବ ନେତା ଶକିଲ ବଣ୍ଟି, ସାକିବ ରାଜା, ପ୍ରମୋଦ ବୁଡ଼ା, ସାରିକା, ଅନନ୍ୟା ଏବଂ ବିଜୁ ଯୁବ, ଛାତ୍ର ଓ ମହିଳା ଜନତା ଦଳର ବହୁ କର୍ମକର୍ତ୍ତା ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ।

ରିପୋର୍ଟ - ଦେବରାଜ ବାଣୁଆ, ଜୁନାଗଡ କଳାହାଣ୍ଡି - ଜୁନାଗଡ ବ୍ଲକ  ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ଭଇଁରୀଗୁଡ଼ା ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ ର ଧାନ ମଣ୍ଡି ଜୁନାଗଡ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣ ବଜାର କମିଟି ପ୍ରାଙ୍ଗଣ ଧାନ ବିକ୍ରୟ ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା କରାଯାଇଅଛି।କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହି ମଣ୍ଡି ରେ ଅନେକ ସମସ୍ୟା ଦେଖା ଯାଇ ଅଛି। ନିୟମିତ ଭାବରେ ଧନ କ୍ରୟ ସଂସ୍ଥା କ୍ରୟ କରୁନଥିବାରୁ ଚାଷୀ ମାନେ ଗତ ତା ୧୮-୬-୨୦୨୬ ରିଖ ଦିନ ଜୁନାଗଡ ବ୍ଲକ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଧାରଣାରେ ବସିଥିଲେ। ପ୍ରଶାସନ ର ଲିଖିତ ପ୍ରତିଶୁତି ପରେ ଚାଷୀ ମାନେ ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ କୁ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାହୃତ କରିଥିଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ପୂର୍ବଭଳି ନିୟମିତ ମଣ୍ଡି ଚାଲୁନଥିବାରୁ ଚାଷୀ ମାନେ ଅସନ୍ତୋଷ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଜୁନାଗଡ଼ ବିଧାୟକ କ୍ୟାପଟେନ୍ ଦିବ୍ୟ ଶଙ୍କର ମିଶ୍ର ମଣ୍ଡି ପରିଦର୍ଶନ କରି ଚାଷୀଙ୍କ ସମସ୍ୟା ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ବିଭାଗୀୟ ଅଧିକାରୀଙ୍କ ସହ ଆଲୋଚନା କରି ତାର ସମାଧାନ ଶୀଘ୍ର କରିବା ପାଇଁ କହିଥିଲେ ଓ ଚାଷୀଙ୍କ ସହ ମଣ୍ଡି ର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସମସ୍ୟା ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ଆଲୋଚନା କରିଥିଲେ । କ୍ୟାପଟେନ ମିଶ୍ର ଙ୍କ ସହ ବ୍ଲକ୍ ଉପାଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ପ୍ରମୋଦ ବେହେରା,ପୂର୍ବତନ ଜୁନାଗଡ ବିଜ୍ଞାପିତ ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ପରିଷଦ ନଗରପାଳ ଶ୍ରୀ ମହେଶ ସାହୁ, ଯୁବ ନେତା ଦିନେଶ ବଗର୍ତ୍ତୀ, ଭଇରିଗୁଡ଼ା କୃଷକ ସଂଘ ସଭାପତି ଦେବରାଜ ବାଣୁଆ ଓ ଅନେକ ଚାଷୀ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ।

​ପୂର୍ବତନ ଆଇଏଏସ୍ ଅଫିସରଙ୍କ ବିଜେଡିରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ରାଜନୀତିରେ ଉତ୍ତରାଧିକାରୀ ବିତର୍କକୁ ଆନ୍ଦୋଳିତ କରିଛି ​ ​ଭି.କେ. ପାଣ୍ଡିଆନଙ୍କ ପତ୍ନୀ ତଥା ପୂର୍ବତନ ଆଇଏଏସ୍ ଅଫିସର ସୁଜାତା ରାଉତ କାର୍ତ୍ତିକେୟନ ବିଜୁ ଜନତା ଦଳ (ବିଜେଡି) ରେ ଯୋଗ ଦେବାକୁ ଯାଉଛନ୍ତି, ଯାହା ନବୀନ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକଙ୍କ ଉତ୍ତରାଧିକାରୀ ଯୋଜନାକୁ ନେଇ ଏକ ତୀବ୍ର ବିତର୍କ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିଛି। ​ଯଦିଓ ଦଳ ପକ୍ଷରୁ କୌଣସି ଆନୁଷ୍ଠାନିକ ନିଶ୍ଚିତତା ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଇନାହିଁ, ତଥାପି ଦଳର ଆଭ୍ୟନ୍ତରୀଣ ସୂତ୍ରରୁ ସୂଚନା ମିଳିଛି ଯେ ଦଳର ନେତୃତ୍ୱ କାଠଗଡ଼ାକୁ ମଜବୁତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ ସୁଜାତାଙ୍କୁ ନିଜ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାଳୟରେ ସାମିଲ କରିବାକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି ଚଳାଇଛନ୍ତି। ​କେନ୍ଦ୍ରାପଡ଼ାର ବାସିନ୍ଦା ତଥା ୨୦୦୦ ବ୍ୟାଚ୍‌ର ଆଇଏଏସ୍ ଅଫିସର ସୁଜାତା ପ୍ରଶାସନିକ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଏକ ପ୍ରଶଂସନୀୟ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକାଳ ପରେ ମାର୍ଚ୍ଚ ୨୦୨୫ ରେ ସ୍ୱେଚ୍ଛାକୃତ ଅବସର (VRS) ନେଇଥିଲେ। ରାଜନୀତିରେ ତାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରବେଶକୁ ବିଜେଡିର ଏକ ରଣନୀତିକ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ଭାବେ ଦେଖାଯାଉଛି, ବିଶେଷ କରି ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକଙ୍କ ବଢୁଥିବା ବୟସ ଏବଂ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟଗତ ସମସ୍ୟା ଯୋଗୁଁ ଉତ୍ତରାଧିକାରୀଙ୍କୁ ନେଇ ଆଲୋଚନା ଜୋର ଧରିଛି। ଦଳୀୟ ସୂତ୍ର ଅନୁଯାୟୀ, ସେ କୌଣସି ଆନୁଷ୍ଠାନିକ ପଦବୀରେ ନ ରହିପାରନ୍ତି, କିନ୍ତୁ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକଙ୍କ ସହ ମିଶି ନିକଟତର ହୋଇ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିବେ, ଯାହା ଏକ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ସମୟରେ ନେତୃତ୍ୱ ସଂରଚନାକୁ ସୁଦୃଢ଼ କରିବ। ​ତାଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱାମୀ ଭି.କେ. ପାଣ୍ଡିଆନ, ଯିଏ କି ନିଜେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଜଣେ ୨୦୦୦ ବ୍ୟାଚ୍‌ର ଆଇଏଏସ୍ ଅଫିସର ଥିଲେ, ୨୦୨୩ରେ ବିଜେଡିରେ ଯୋଗ ଦେଇଥିଲେ ଏବଂ ୨୦୨୪ ନିର୍ବାଚନ ପ୍ରଚାରର ନେତୃତ୍ୱ ନେଇଥିଲେ। ତେବେ ଦଳ ୨୪ ବର୍ଷ ପରେ କ୍ଷମତା ଚ୍ୟୁତ ହେବା ଫଳରେ ପାଣ୍ଡିଆନ ସକ୍ରିୟ ରାଜନୀତିରୁ ଦୂରେଇ ଯାଇଥିଲେ। ପରାଜୟରେ ତାଙ୍କର ଭୂମିକା ଏବେ ବି ବିବାଦୀୟ ହୋଇ ରହିଛି, କାରଣ ଅନେକ ନେତା ଭୋଟରଙ୍କୁ ଦୂରେଇ ଦେବାରେ ତାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଭାବକୁ ଦାୟୀ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏହି ପୃଷ୍ଠଭୂମି ଯୋଗୁଁ ସୁଜାତାଙ୍କ ସମ୍ଭାବ୍ୟ ପ୍ରବେଶ ଦଳ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏକ ସମ୍ବେଦନଶୀଳ ବିଷୟ ପାଲଟିଛି। ​ପାଣ୍ଡିଆନଙ୍କ ବିବାଦୀୟ ମାହୋଲକୁ ଦର୍ଶାଇ କିଛି ବରିଷ୍ଠ ନେତା ଏହାକୁ ବିରୋଧ କରୁଥିବା ବେଳେ, ଅନ୍ୟ କେତେକ ସୁଜାତାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଶାସନିକ ଦକ୍ଷତାକୁ ସ୍ୱାଗତ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ବିଜେଡିର ପୂର୍ବତନ ନେତା ତଥା ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ବିଜେପିରେ ଥିବା ଦେବାଶିଷ ସାମନ୍ତରାୟ ପାଣ୍ଡିଆନଙ୍କ ଆଧିପତ୍ୟକୁ ସମାଲୋଚନା କରିବା ସହ ସେ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଅସ୍ମିତାକୁ କ୍ଷୁଣ୍ଣ କରିଥିବା ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଅପରପକ୍ଷରେ ଟୁକୁନି ସାହୁଙ୍କ ଭଳି ନେତା ସୁଜାତାଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବ ରେକର୍ଡକୁ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରି ଯୁକ୍ତି ବାଢିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ତାଙ୍କର ଅଭିଜ୍ଞତା ଦଳର ସାଂଗଠନିକ ଶକ୍ତିକୁ ଉପକୃତ କରିପାରେ। ​ଏହି ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ବିଜେଡିର ନିରନ୍ତରତା ଏବଂ ନୂତନତା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସନ୍ତୁଳନ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବାର ପ୍ରୟାସକୁ ଦର୍ଶାଉଛି। ସମର୍ଥକଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ସୁଜାତାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରବେଶ ଦଳର ନେତୃତ୍ୱରେ ଏକ ନୂତନ ଅଧ୍ୟାୟର ପ୍ରତୀକ ଅଟେ। ବିରୋଧୀଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏହା ପରିବାରବାଦର ପ୍ରଭାବ ଏବଂ ପାଣ୍ଡିଆନଙ୍କ ରାଜନୀତିକ ପରୀକ୍ଷଣର ଦୀର୍ଘସ୍ଥାୟୀ ଛାୟାକୁ ନେଇ ଚିନ୍ତା ବଢାଇଛି। ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ରାଜନୈତିକ ପରିବେଶ ବଦଳୁଥିବା ବେଳେ, ତାଙ୍କର ଏହି ପ୍ରବେଶ ଭାରତର ଅନ୍ୟତମ ଦୀର୍ଘସ୍ଥାୟୀ ଆଞ୍ଚଳିକ ଦଳରେ ଉତ୍ତରାଧିକାରୀର ରୂପରେଖକୁ ପୁନଃ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧାରିତ କରିପାରେ।

ଅନୁଗୋଳ: ବଅଁରପାଳ ଥାନା ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ସନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଛକ ନିକଟରେ ଥିବା ଶ୍ୟାମ ସୁନ୍ଦର ଜଳଖିଆ ଓ ମିଠା ଦୋକାନ ଉପରେ ଶ୍ରମ ବିଭାଗ ଓ ଶିଶୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ସଂସ୍ଥାଗୁଡ଼ିକର ମିଳିତ ଚଢ଼ାଉରେ ଜଣେ ଶିଶୁ ଶ୍ରମିକଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରାଯାଇଛି। ସୂଚନା ଅନୁସାରେ, ବିରୁ ମୁଣ୍ଡା ନାମକ ଜଣେ ନାବାଳକ ଏହି ଦୋକାନରେ ଶ୍ରମିକ ଭାବେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରୁଥିଲେ। ଏହି ଦୋକାନରେ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ବାଳ ଶ୍ରମିକ ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ନେଇ ଅଭିଯୋଗ ଆସିଥିବା ବେଳେ, ଶ୍ରମ ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ବାରମ୍ବାର ସତର୍କ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ତଥାପି ନିୟମ ଉଲ୍ଲଙ୍ଘନ ହେଉଥିବା ନେଇ ଅଭିଯୋଗ ମିଳିବା ପରେ ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ତତ୍ପରତା ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଇଥିଲା। ଅଭିଯୋଗର ଆଧାରରେ ଶ୍ରମ ବିଭାଗ, ଉତ୍କଳ ବାଳାଶ୍ରମ, ଶିଶୁ ଯୁବ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଏବଂ ଶିଶୁ କଲ୍ୟାଣ ସମିତି (CWC)ର ମିଳିତ ଉଦ୍ୟମରେ ଦୋକାନ ଉପରେ ଚଢ଼ାଉ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ଚଢ଼ାଉ ସମୟରେ ଶିଶୁ ଶ୍ରମିକଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରାଯାଇ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ଆଇନଗତ ଓ ପୁନର୍ବାସ ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା ପାଇଁ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ହେଫାଜତକୁ ନିଆଯାଇଛି। ଏହି ଚଢ଼ାଉରେ ସହକାରୀ ଶ୍ରମ ଅଧିକାରିଣୀ ଆରସୀତା ନାୟକ, ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀ ବେହେରା ଏବଂ **ଶିଶୁ କଲ୍ୟାଣ ସମିତି (CWC)**ର ପ୍ରତିନିଧିମାନେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ। ଉଦ୍ଧାର ହୋଇଥିବା ଶିଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଅସ୍ଥାୟୀ ଭାବେ ଉତ୍କଳ ବାଳାଶ୍ରମରେ ରଖାଯାଇଥିବା ଜଣାପଡ଼ିଛି।

ଭୁବନ ୨୪.୬- ଢେ଼ଙ୍କାନାଳ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଭୁବନ ବିଜ୍ଞାପିତ ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ପରିଷଦ ତରଫରୁ ରଗଡ଼ି ଛକ ଠାରେ ଥିବା ବହୁମୁଖୀ ଭବନ ପରିସରରେ ବିକାଶର ଧାରା, ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସାରା ରାଜ୍ୟସ୍ତରୀୟ ସହରାଞ୍ଚଳ ଜନସମ୍ପର୍କ ଓ ନାଗରିକ ସହଭାଗିତା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି। ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ସଂଗଠିକା ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ଚିକୁମୀନା ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ ଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ତତ୍ତ୍ୱାବଧାନରେ କନିଷ୍ଠ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସୁରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ନାଥ ସାହୁ ଙ୍କ ସଂଯୋଜନାରେ ଆୟୋଜିତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ନଗରପାଳ ଶୁଭେନ୍ଦୁ କୁମାର ସାହୁ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଅତିଥି ଭାବେ ଯୋଗ ଦେଇଥିଲେ। ରାଜ୍ୟ ସ୍ତରୀୟ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମକୁ ନଗର ଉନ୍ନୟନ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ କୃଷ୍ଣଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ମହାପାତ୍ର ଉଦଘାଟନ କରି ଦୁଇ ବର୍ଷରେ ସରକାର ଙ୍କ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ବିକାଶ ମୂଳକ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟର ବିବରଣୀ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଥିଲେ। ଏହାକୁ ପ୍ରାୟ ଦୁଇଶହ ରୁ ଉର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱ ମହିଳା ପୁରୁଷ ଆଭାସୀ ଜରିଆରେ ଦେଖିଥିଲେ । ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଅନ୍ନପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣା ଯୋଜନାରେ ନୂତନ ହିତାଧିକାରୀଙ୍କୁ ରାସନ କାର୍ଡ ବଣ୍ଟନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା ବେଳେ ସ୍ଵଛସାଥି ,ପ୍ଲାଣ୍ଟ କର୍ମଚାରୀ ଓ ସଫେଇ କର୍ମଚାରୀ ମାନଙ୍କୁ ନଗରପାଳ ଙ୍କ ଦ୍ଵାରା ପ୍ରଶଂସା ପତ୍ର ବଣ୍ଟନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। କନିଷ୍ଠ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶକ୍ତି ପ୍ରସାଦ ସାହୁ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଅର୍ପଣ କରିଥିଲେ। ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ କାଉନସିଲର ପପୁ କୁମାର ସାହୁ,ମନ ମୋହନ ସାହୁ,ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର କୁମାର ବେହେରା,ମଞ୍ଜୁଲତା ସେଠୀ,ସସ୍ମିତା ନାୟକ ଙ୍କ ସମେତ ଏନ୍ ଏ ସି କର୍ମଚାରୀ ମାନେ ସକ୍ରିୟ ଅଂଶ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲେ।

ଢ଼େଙ୍କାନାଳ, ୨୪.୬-: ଢ଼େଙ୍କାନାଳରେ ଆସନ୍ତା ଜୁଲାଇ ମାସ ୧୬ ତାରିଖ ଗୁରୁବାର ଦିନ ଶ୍ରୀଶ୍ରୀ ବଳଦେବଜୀଉ ବିଜେଙ୍କର ରଥଯାତ୍ରା ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହେବ । ଏଥି ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆଜି ଅପରାହ୍ନରେ ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳଙ୍କ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାଳୟ ସ୍ଥିତ ସଦଭାବନା ସଭାଗୃହ ଠାରେ ଏକ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି ବୈଠକ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା । ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ ଶ୍ରୀ ଆଶିଷ ଇଶ୍ଵର ପାଟିଲ ରଥଯାତ୍ରା ସମୟରେ ଗାଡ଼ି ପାର୍କିଂ ଓ ଟ୍ରାଫିକ ନିୟତନ୍ତ୍ରର ସୁ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା କରିବାକୁ ଗୁରୁତ୍ବାରୋପ କରିଥିଲେ । ଚ଼ିକିତ୍ସା ସେବା ଓ ଆମ୍ବୁଲାନସ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ସହିତ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ରହିବାକୁ ସେ ବିଭାଗୀୟ ଅଧିକାରୀଙ୍କୁ କହିଥିଲେ I ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ ବିଭାଗ ଓ ପୌରପାଳିକା ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଯାତ୍ରାରେ ଜନସାଧାରଣଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଜଳ ସିଞ୍ଚନର ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା କରାଯିବ ବୋଲି ସେ କହିଥିଲେ । ଉତ୍ସାହପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଓ ଶାନ୍ତି ଶୃଙ୍ଖଳାର ସହ ରଥଟଣା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଶେଷ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର ସହଯୋଗ କାମନା କରିଥିଲେ । ଦେବୋତ୍ତର ନିର୍ବାହୀ ଅଧିକାରୀ ତଥା ଉପ ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ ଶ୍ରୀ ପଦ୍ମ ଚରଣ ସାହୁ ସ୍ୱାଗତ ଭାଷଣ ଦେଇ ରାଜପୁରୋଧାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ନିର୍ଘଣ୍ଟ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟସୂଚୀ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ ରଥ ଯାତ୍ରା ଶେଷ କରାଯିବ ବୋଲି ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଥିଲେ । ଦେବୋତ୍ତର ନିରୀକ୍ଷକ ଶ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରଦ୍ୟୁମ୍ନ ତ୍ରିପାଠୀ ରଥଯାତ୍ରା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ସଂପର୍କରେ ସୂଚ଼ନା ଦେଇଥିଲେ । ବୈଠକରେ, ରଥ ନିର୍ମାଣ ଓ ସାଜସଜ୍ଜା, ଶାନ୍ତି ଶୃଙ୍ଖଳା ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇଁ ଆରକ୍ଷୀ ମୁତୟନ , ଗାଡ଼ି ପାର୍କିଂ ଓ ଟ୍ରାଫିକ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା , ପାନୀୟ ଜଳ ଯୋଗାଣ ଓ ପରିଷ୍କାର ପରିଛନ୍ନତା ,ସ୍ଵେଚ୍ଛା ସେବୀ ମୁତୟନ , ଧାରା ବିବରଣୀ ପ୍ରଦାନ, ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ ସରବରାହ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣ ଆଦି ସଂପର୍କରେ ଆଲୋଚନା କରାଯାଇ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ଭାବେ ରଥଟଣା ଶେଷ କରିବାକୁ ସ୍ଥିର ହୋଇଛି । ଏହି ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି ବୈଠକରେ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପରିଷଦର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷା ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ଅର୍ଚ୍ଚନା ପୁହାଣ, ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ ଶ୍ରୀ ରମେଶ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ସେଠି, ଜିଲ୍ଲା ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଚିକିତ୍ସାଧିକାରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ସଂଜୟ ମହାପାତ୍ର, ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପରିଷଦର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଉନ୍ନୟନ ଅଧିକାରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ଦିପ୍ତୀ ରଂଜନ ସେଠୀ, ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନର କର୍ମକର୍ତ୍ତା ଓ ବିଭାଗୀୟ ଅଧିକାରୀ ମାନେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ ।

Sinapali, June 25 The main road connecting Jagannath Chowk and Naka Chowk in Sinapali town of Nuapada district has fallen into a deplorable condition, causing severe inconvenience to thousands of daily commuters. Wastewater from nearby houses and settlements has accumulated on the road, turning the entire stretch into a muddy, drain-like passage and creating an unhealthy environment for pedestrians and motorists alike. According to local residents, dirty wastewater from various parts of the Jagannath Chowk area continuously flows onto the road and remains stagnant due to the absence of a proper drainage system. As a result, waterlogging has become a persistent problem. With the monsoon season approaching, concerns are growing that the situation may worsen further. The issue has particularly affected devotees visiting the famous Shiva Temple of Sinapali, who are compelled to walk through muddy and stagnant drain water to reach the temple. School and college students, businesspersons, and hundreds of other pedestrians use this route every day and are forced to endure the unhygienic conditions. The road is also frequently used by people travelling to the Udanti River for their morning bath. Ironically, after returning from the river, they once again have to walk through the muddy and contaminated stretch. Residents allege that the problem is not only causing inconvenience but also posing a serious public health risk. Locals have demanded immediate intervention from the administration for the construction of a permanent drainage system, repair of the road, and proper disposal of the stagnant wastewater. They have questioned why a problem that has persisted for so long remains unresolved. Residents hope that the concerned authorities will take urgent measures, especially with the monsoon season around the corner, to ease public suffering and restore safe and hygienic movement along this important road.

Nuapada, June 25 On the occasion of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2026, a massive youth rally and human chain programme was organized in Nuapada through the joint initiative of the District Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Department and the Excise Department. The programme commenced at 7:00 AM from the premises of the District Collector’s Office, where Collector and District Magistrate Madhusudan Das flagged off the youth rally. The rally proceeded from the Collectorate to Ekata Chowk, spreading awareness against drug abuse and illegal trafficking. A human chain was later formed from Ekata Chowk to the Collector’s Office, conveying a strong message in support of a drug-free society and community awareness against substance abuse. During the rally, participants raised various awareness slogans highlighting the harmful effects of drug addiction, the need to curb illegal drug trafficking, and the importance of building a healthy and addiction-free society. The youth were urged to stay away from intoxicants and actively contribute towards creating a healthier and more progressive community. The programme was attended by Chief Development Officer Lambodar Dharua, District Social Security Officer Ananta Hembram, district-level officials from various departments, teachers, students, and representatives of several voluntary organizations, who participated in large numbers and pledged their support for the anti-drug awareness campaign. The event served as a significant step towards promoting social awareness and encouraging collective action against substance abuse in the district.

Nuapada, June 24 A monthly review meeting of the Animal Resources Development Department was held today at the District Headquarters Conference Hall under the chairmanship of Collector and District Magistrate Madhusudan Das. During the meeting, Chief District Veterinary Officer Dr. Sukhendu Ray presented a detailed report on the implementation of various departmental schemes, veterinary healthcare services, facilities available to livestock farmers, and the overall progress of departmental programmes across the district. The review revealed that under the extended grievance redressal programme, 60 animal health camps have been organized across the district so far. Through these camps, 7,482 animals have received veterinary treatment, benefiting 2,331 livestock farmers. On the occasion, several farmers who achieved notable success in the livestock sector were felicitated for their contributions. Those honoured included Prahallad Banchhor of Khariar for broiler farming, Sushila Banchhor of Komna for cattle rearing, Kheerdas Satnami for broiler farming, Asamati Chhatria of Boden for cattle rearing, and Golapi Sanku of Sinapali for her achievements in livestock farming. The meeting was attended by veterinary officers from all blocks, veterinary doctors, livestock farmers, and other departmental officials. Collector Madhusudan Das emphasized the need for effective implementation of livestock development schemes, strengthening veterinary healthcare services, and ensuring that government benefits reach farmers in a timely manner. The meeting concluded with discussions on enhancing animal healthcare infrastructure and promoting sustainable livestock development across the district.

Nuapada, June 24 The 19th meeting of the District Water and Sanitation Mission (DWSM) was held at the Sadbhavana Hall in Nuapada under the chairmanship of Collector and District Magistrate Madhusudan Das. At the outset, Executive Engineer of Rural Water Supply and Sanitation (RWSS), Ashok Kumar Badhai, welcomed the participants and briefed them on the objectives of the meeting. The meeting was attended by Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Lambodar Dharua, District Swachh Bharat Mission Coordinator Anil Kumar Lenka, all Block Development Officers (BDOs), the Executive Engineer of the Electricity Department, and officials and engineers from various departments. During the meeting, the progress of drinking water supply, the “Har Ghar Jal” programme, and various sanitation-related initiatives across the district was reviewed. Special emphasis was laid on the achievements of the “Single-Use Plastic Free (SUP-Free) Nuapada” campaign and the “Bartan Bank” initiative. According to the review, since the launch of the SUP-Free Nuapada Campaign on June 5, 2025, a total of 3,421 awareness programmes and 7,445 cleanliness drives have been conducted across the district. Through these efforts, 2,48,391 kilograms of plastic waste have been collected, while 3,956 kilograms of banned single-use plastic materials have been seized. Additionally, fines amounting to ₹4,44,550 have been imposed and collected from violators. Under the Bartan Bank programme, 170 utensil banks have been established against a target of 177, achieving 96.05 percent success. Notably, the rural areas of the district have achieved 100 percent completion of the targeted 131 utensil banks. Addressing the meeting, Collector Madhusudan Das stressed the need to further strengthen drinking water supply systems, ensure timely implementation of water supply projects, and provide prompt resolution of public grievances related to water and sanitation services. The meeting concluded with a commitment to accelerate efforts towards sustainable sanitation practices and making Nuapada a cleaner and environmentally responsible district.
