Nuapada Police Intensify Night Vigil: Naka Checking and Drunken Driving Enforcement Conducted Across the District

Nuapada: In a bid to strengthen night-time security, prevent crime and promote road safety, Nuapada Police conducted extensive night blocking, naka checking and drunken driving enforcement at various strategic locations across the district. The checking drive was carried out under different Police Stations, with police personnel deployed at key points to monitor vehicular movement and maintain vigilance during the night hours. Vehicles were stopped and checked, while suspicious persons and vehicles were subjected to verification as part of the security exercise. Police also intensified enforcement against drunken driving and other traffic violations. The initiative was aimed at discouraging motorists from driving under the influence of alcohol and preventing road accidents caused by reckless or unsafe driving.
