Peace Committee Meetings Held Across Nuapada District Ahead of Ganesh Puja

*Police Hold Discussions on Law and Order, Traffic Management and Public Safety* Nuapada: With Ganesh Puja approaching, Nuapada Police have stepped up preparations to ensure that the festival is celebrated peacefully and harmoniously across the district. As part of the preparations, Peace Committee Meetings were conducted at various police stations across Nuapada district. During the meetings, police officials interacted with members of Peace Committees, public representatives, community members, puja committee representatives and other local stakeholders. Detailed discussions were held on maintaining peace and communal harmony during the festival, besides ensuring the safety and convenience of the general public. Key issues discussed included law and order, traffic management, procession routes, crowd control and public safety during the celebrations. Police officials also stressed the need for strict compliance with the law and adherence to all prescribed guidelines while organising puja programmes and processions. The police appealed to all puja committees and local stakeholders to extend their full cooperation to the administration and police personnel. They were urged to remain responsible and vigilant so that the celebrations could be conducted without any untoward incident. The meetings also emphasised the importance of maintaining mutual respect and communal harmony, with all sections of society being encouraged to celebrate the festival in a peaceful and disciplined manner.
