Nuapada Marches with Pride as Massive Tiranga Rally Marks ‘Har Ghar Tiranga–2026

*Collector Calls Upon Citizens to Uphold the Honour and Dignity of the National Flag* Nuapada, August 14: The spirit of patriotism and national pride swept across Nuapada on Thursday as a massive Tiranga rally was organised under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga–2026’ campaign. Waving the Tricolour with pride, thousands of participants came together to celebrate the nation’s unity, sovereignty and patriotic spirit. The rally commenced at 8 am from the District Collector’s Office and proceeded towards the Office of the Superintendent of Police. Carrying the Tricolour in their hands and raising patriotic slogans, participants transformed the streets into a vibrant display of national pride. The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from Nuapada MLA Jay Dholakia, Collector Madhusudan Dash, Superintendent of Police Amritpal Singh, Additional Collector Subash Chandra Rait, Sub-Collector Surmi Soren, Nuapada Block Chairperson Tareshwari Sahu and Komna Block Chairperson Anusaya Kumbhar. Representatives of different political parties, elected representatives, intellectuals, distinguished citizens, district-level officials and employees, school students and members of the public also joined the procession in large numbers. The rally was not merely a procession but a powerful expression of collective patriotism, with citizens reaffirming their respect for the national flag and the values it represents. Following the rally, a meeting was organised at the premises of the District Collector’s Office. Addressing the gathering, Collector Madhusudan Dash expressed his gratitude to all elected representatives, officials, employees, students and citizens whose enthusiastic participation contributed to the success of the event. Emphasising the significance of the Tricolour, the Collector said that the national flag symbolises India’s pride, unity and self-respect. He appealed to everyone to uphold its dignity and honour at all times and to participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign with a deep sense of responsibility and patriotism. The distinguished guests also highlighted the significance of the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative and urged citizens, particularly the younger generation, to develop a lasting sense of respect and pride for the national flag. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Additional Collector Subash Chandra Rait.
