Honouring a Lifetime of Service: Emotional Farewell to Three Retired Teachers at Bharuamunda Cluster

Sinapali, July 4 A teacher’s life extends far beyond the classroom; it is a lifelong commitment to shaping society and nurturing future generations. Recognising this invaluable contribution, the Bharuamunda Cluster under the Sinapali Block Education Office organised a heartfelt farewell ceremony to honour three retired teachers—Debarchan Bhoi, Ishwarlal Meher, and Budha Mali—for their dedicated service. The programme was held at Sangahatiapada Primary School under the chairmanship of CRCC Radheshyam Sunani. Senior teacher Jitendra Thakur attended as the Chief Guest, Lochan Meher as the keynote speaker, and Rathang Meher as the Guest of Honour. The speakers fondly recalled the retirees’ unwavering dedication, sincerity, and remarkable contributions to the field of education. They remarked that while a teacher may retire from service, the values, knowledge, and inspiration they impart continue to guide generations of students long after retirement. During the ceremony, the retired teachers were felicitated with citation certificates, mementoes, and bouquets as a mark of respect and appreciation. Rosalin Sethi, Aravinda Meher, and Sushanta Dandsena read the citations, while Nilamani Majhi efficiently conducted the proceedings. The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Sanurjya Meher. Among those present were Giridhari Meher, Debaraj Majhi, Sarat Meher, Sadananda Jani, Daitari Meher, Jayakanta Raut, Rudre Chhatria, Premalata Pujhari, Shubhashree Majhi, Ramesh Meher, T. J.
