Meritorious Student Felicitated; Two Students Honoured for Outstanding Contribution to Tree Conservation
Sinapali, July 3
Godal Upper Primary School under the Sinapali Block Education Department has added another feather to its cap as its student Laxman Majhi successfully qualified in the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) Examination, earning eligibility for the prestigious scholarship. In recognition of his remarkable achievement, the school felicitated him during a special ceremony held on Friday.
The occasion also celebrated the students’ commitment to environmental conservation. Balaji Majhi and Tikelal Majhi were honoured for their dedicated efforts in planting and nurturing various trees within the school campus. They were presented with bouquets and mementoes in appreciation of their exemplary contribution towards creating a greener school environment.
The felicitation programme was conducted under the leadership of Headmaster Rajendra Nayak, who congratulated the students for their hard work, dedication, and achievements. The teachers encouraged them to continue striving for excellence and to set higher goals in their academic and personal lives.
It is noteworthy that all three honoured students are currently studying in Class IX at Godal High School during the current academic session.
Among those present on the occasion were teachers Rajendra Khamari, Nabin Behera, Gyanaranjan Sunani, Nihar Ranjan Khamari, and teachers Indumati Majhi and Namita Behera, who applauded the students’ accomplishments and inspired them to continue their pursuit of excellence while serving as role models for their peers.
