Headmaster Debarchan Bhoi Retires After 38 Years of Dedicated Service, Accorded Grand Farewell

Teaching is not merely a profession but a noble mission of shaping society. After rendering 38 years of dedicated, sincere, and exemplary service in the field of education, Debarchan Bhoi, Headmaster of Nuapada Primary School under Sinapali Block, retired from service on Wednesday. On the occasion of his retirement, Bharuamunda Cluster organized a grand and emotional farewell ceremony in his honour.
Debarchan Bhoi began his teaching career in Bada Chhatrang Panchayat under Thuamul Rampur Block of Kalahandi district. Over the years, he served with distinction in several schools before concluding his illustrious career as the Headmaster of Nuapada Primary School in Sinapali Block. His discipline, commitment, and affectionate approach towards students earned him the reputation of being an ideal teacher.
The farewell function was attended by Giridhari Meher, Headmaster of Patialpada Secondary School, along with Sadananda Jani, Kokila Sunani, and Nilamani Majhi, who graced the dais and praised Bhoi’s remarkable contribution to the field of education. Nilamani Majhi delivered the welcome address and highlighted the retiree’s invaluable service and dedication.
The programme was successfully coordinated with the support of Aravinda Meher, Bipin Bag, Lingaraj Nag, Sushanta Singh Dandsena, Sanjay Majhi, Subash Chandra Deep, and Harihar Meher. The participating teachers appreciated Bhoi’s simplicity, integrity, unwavering commitment to education, and his inspiring role in nurturing generations of students.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the teachers of the cluster escorted Debarchan Bhoi to his residence as a mark of respect and affection. His family members, relatives, and well-wishers warmly welcomed everyone. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Kokila Sunani.
The farewell ceremony was not only a celebration of Debarchan Bhoi’s retirement but also a heartfelt tribute by the teaching fraternity to his remarkable contribution and lifelong dedication to the cause of education.
