They praised the invaluable contributions of both teachers and highlighted their role in nurturing not only academic excellence but also moral values and responsible citizenship among students.
Former student Prakash Patra anchored the programme, while alumni Mohan Charan Das, Mahendra Das, Kailash Jagat, Sanjeeb Meher and Tara Jagat shared heartfelt memories of their school days. Recalling the affection, discipline and guidance they received from their teachers, many speakers acknowledged that the lessons learned in the classroom became the foundation of their success in life, making the occasion deeply emotional.
As a mark of gratitude, the Alumni Association presented the retiring teachers with citation certificates, mementoes and traditional gifts. Several former students also personally offered gifts and expressed their appreciation for the invaluable role their teachers had played in shaping their futures. Villagers, students and well-wishers prayed for the teachers’ healthy, peaceful and fulfilling retired lives.
