Joint Public Grievance Hearing Held at Sinapali; 92 Petitions Addressed, Red Cross Assistance Distributed

Nuapada, June 29:
A Joint Public Grievance Hearing Camp led by Nuapada District Collector Madhusudan Dash and the district police administration was successfully conducted today at the Sinapali Block Conference Hall. The initiative aimed to provide a direct platform for citizens to present their grievances and ensure prompt administrative action.
The camp was attended by Divisional Forest Officer (Territorial) Aziz Khan, Divisional Forest Officer (Kendu Leaf) A. Madhabilata, Chief Development Officer Lambodar Dharua, Additional Superintendent of Police Ranjit Nayak, Sinapali BDO Karmi Oram, Tahasildar Upanjali Majhi, along with officials from various government departments. Deputy Collector Sheikh Naseem coordinated the proceedings.
A total of 92 petitions were received during the camp, including 79 individual grievances and 13 group representations submitted by residents from different Gram Panchayats under Sinapali Block. Officials from various line departments examined the complaints on the spot and initiated necessary measures for their early resolution.
On the occasion, Yugal Kishore Dandsena was provided financial assistance of ₹10,000 from the Indian Red Cross Fund through a cheque to support his immediate needs.
Recognising their outstanding contribution towards promoting sanitation and public awareness, Aravind Hota of Chhatiaguda, Arun Kumar Harijan of Godal, and Kunj Bihari Meher of Ghantiguda were felicitated with the “Swachhata Doot” (Sanitation Ambassador) award.
The programme witnessed the participation of district and block-level officials, representatives of various departments, members of the public, and media personnel. The administration reiterated its commitment to ensuring transparent governance and timely redressal of public grievances through such outreach initiatives.
