Assistant Teacher Suresh Deep Suspended Pending Disciplinary Proceedings

Boden, June 25 Suresh Deep, Assistant Teacher at Gahurpadar Government Upper Primary School under Boden Block in Nuapada district, has been placed under suspension with immediate effect pending disciplinary proceedings against him. The suspension order was issued by the Block Education Officer (BEO), Boden. According to the official order, the suspension has been enforced under Rule 12(1)(a) of the Odisha Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1962. The order will remain in force until the disciplinary proceedings are completed. During the suspension period, Suresh Deep’s headquarters has been fixed at Larka Government Higher Secondary School. He has been directed not to leave the headquarters without obtaining prior permission from the competent authority. The order further states that he will be entitled to receive subsistence allowance in accordance with the provisions of the Odisha Service Code during the period of suspension. Copies of the suspension order have been forwarded to the District Education Officer (DEO), Nuapada, the District Collector, the Director of Elementary Education, and other concerned authorities for information and necessary action. The Education Department stated that the suspension is an administrative measure taken while disciplinary proceedings are under consideration.
