District-Level Project Tour Showcases Development Initiatives in Nuapada Nuapada, Reporter: Bijay Bariha As part of the Odisha Government’s “Bikashara Dhara Odisha Sara” campaign marking two years of the state government’s tenure, a district-level Project Tour (Prakalpa Parikrama) was organized in Nuapada under the direction of District Collector Madhusudan Das. The objective of the initiative was to familiarize public representatives and members of different sections of society with the progress of various developmental projects being implemented across the district. A delegation led by Lambodar Dharua, Chief Development Officer-cum-Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, Nuapada, visited several key projects, including the under-construction Atal Bus Terminal at Khariar Road, the Model Pond at Mudagaon, Smart Park, Sweta Ganga Project, Turmeric Project, and the under-construction District Cultural Bhavan at Nuapada. During the visit, the team reviewed the progress and quality standards of the ongoing projects. The programme was attended by Zilla Parishad members Bhanupratap Singh Majhi, Uma Thakur, Malyabanta Suna, and Muralidhar Bhoi. Senior citizens Sitaram Meher, Narendra Mishra, and Sushanta Kumar Rana were also present and shared their views on the state government’s developmental initiatives. Officials including Anil Kumar Lenka, Bidesh Ghosh, Tejpal Dandsena, and Pradeepta Barik of the Zilla Parishad played an active role in the successful coordination and management of the programme. The “Prakalpa Parikrama” highlighted the district’s ongoing development journey and reflected the administration’s commitment to transparency, accountability, public participation, and inclusive growth. The initiative also served as a platform to showcase the progress achieved under various government schemes and infrastructure projects across Nuapada district.
