Sinapali Night Circle Cricket Cup Kicks Off Today

Sinapali, June 21 The much-awaited Sinapali Cricket Cup (Night Circle Tournament) commenced today at the PM SHRI High School Ground, Sinapali. The three-day night cricket tournament will continue from June 21 to June 23, 2026, featuring twelve teams from different areas. The participating teams have been divided into two groups of six teams each. Matches will be conducted in a league format, with fixtures decided through a fresh lottery system. Group 1 consists of Kapsi 5 Star, Udanti Fighters, Karlapada, Haldi, Midnight Warriors, and Kashibahal Night King. Group 2 includes MGCT Kapsi, Team OAV, Subalaya, Karangamal, Bandhagaon, and Bhawanipatna 18. According to the tournament format, the top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals. The semi-final pairings will also be determined through a fresh lottery. The grand finale will be played on June 23 to crown the tournament champion. The tournament has generated considerable excitement among cricket enthusiasts in and around Sinapali. A large turnout of spectators is expected to witness the thrilling night matches under floodlights over the next three days.
